  • i reallly really really wanna see this moviee!!!

    i saw this preveiws before, and the video still havent came out;

  • I have to agree with some of the comments in here. I don't know why there are even arguments about the way she speaks in Hmong. She obviously can't speak clearly in Hmong. She speaks in English with an accent as well. It's bothersome both ways. Enjoy!

  • When did this movie come out?

  • aye the camera guy at 8:20 looks like that guy from wong fu production phil.

  • OMG! i never there is a movie that Jade Lee plays instead of Tou n Mai...i though she's only on that movie now i see lol just notice eheh

  • Finally some intelligent debates going on this video. I'm glad all the childish haters are gone. :) All jokes aside though, we do need to support our artist and film makers but we also need to hold them accountable if they make a movie that sucks. Keep up the intelligent talks.

  • Aww..RIP Yai Moua.

  • Their Hmong is fine. I can understand them just fine. To those who complain about their Hmong and not understanding them... Maybe it's a you problem. Clean your ears!!!

  • It's just what I think... Now don't get all hardcore and butt hurted

  • Omg... Go back and learn Hmong... Can't even speak Hmong right

  • Ya need to stop criticizing other people. If you don't like it then don't look. Simple as that. I don't see ya doing anything. IDK why so many ppl put negativity into youtube clips. Do urself a favor and stop watching youtube then. Thank you.

He;ll always be remembered in our loving hearts. =]]

  • hehe when they speack hmong its so funny..

  • Jade...your Hmong is fine. I can understand you just fine that's what matters. Keep it up!!

  • Jade is pretty...but she really needs to work on her Hmong. I cringe every time she speaks. Sorry but that is just my opinion. She is fine besides that =)

  • @mycognitive

her hmong's pretty cute. hmong girls who try to talk all sweet n fobby, just got to go. and hmong girls that can't utter a hmong word? shameful. but Jade? shes original. she speaks it with her own style. i think she makes hmong sound sassy and pretty. but again, that's just my opinion too. :)

    Xab Pheej Kim

  • R.I.P Yia, "The Bull" Mua... You'll be remembered as the greatest Hmoob fighter ever..

  • What? He's dead?

  • Yep. he died yesterday... He was diagnosed with liver cancer and doctors said he had less than a year to live but I guess his time came sooner than we thought.

  • Did anyone upload this movie on Youtube?

  • it's sooo hot how jade's in a movie with dao... i wonder if amy vue will get to be in a movie...

  • yeap...ua cas lawv yuav hais lus hmoob tsis meej li...hope it better in the movie....

  • well done...keep it up.....

  • Very good work will support, but I like hmong thai actor more they can act.

  • I like how Houa hais lus hmoob miskas. My daughter speak the same way. lol

  • @ibsimneejent i like houa hais lus hmomb too

  • gosh they can't even speak hmong like adults.. hehehe.. they speak hmong like a little kid.

  • Ua cas Dao yuav hais lo lus "dab tsi ne" ntau ua luaj?

  • Does anyone knoe how to get this movie.I wanna buy it at new year.

  • i watched this movie from start to end. pretty good...

  • i actually really like the story... the actors are good...even though houa can't really speak hmong... i think she is good enough... the actors each have their own character... Dao matches his character and yia is good too... Great video!

  • i think one of the reasons why so many hmong directors out there get critisize so harshly is because people compare their work to high budget hollywood films that have very high production value. We have to remember that Hmong movies aren't hollywood and look at them more as independent films. It's not that they're trying to be hollywood either, maybe it's the a genre they really enjoy working in.

  • uh...ab tsis ne, ab tsis ne, ab tsis ne....

  • ahahhahahah !

  • YEAP!!!!! i definitely agree with u bro (swtshin)...... we need to be more supportive and making less criticism toward our own people. In general, our Hmong entertainment industry is still behind other people, but they are doing their best. And i respect that alot. We should turn to each other and plus giving ideas and helpin how to make it better for the next one, not sittin aside and making criticism.........

  • TRUE. Thanks for being a Hmong supporter.

  • @unlockman09 Well, with all due respect, criticism is needed. To only criticize and not give credit isn't necesary, but without people criticizing then there would be less of an effort to push for improvement.

  • @unlockman09 with no criticism there's not improvement..don't be hard headed..take those criticism and turn it into inspiration and think it to yourself "what can i do to make it better" ...nobody said they won't support they're only making you better...

  • Did y'all hear what Dao said "we've raised the bar"--well, I say: hell funkin no...news flash dude, y'all didn't raise shit--I've seen Hmong Thailand movie shot better than this. The fighting scenes look hella fake, and so is Dao and Houa's acting. Dao Vue kav teeb heev. He keeps saying "ahhh... dab tsi ne..." and it's really annoying.

  • hahaha..i agreed..he is no different in reality and in movie..dao is always conceited in what he do..

  • lol

i feel you.. "ahhh.. dab tsi ne..." haha

that's like saying, "uhmmm i dont know what to say next..." lol

  • @ready101okay

you can't do nothing better. stop complaining or step up. at least wiseguys, dao and houa are doing something for the community. i don't seen anybody interviewing you? you ain't doing nothing but being jealous and hating.

  • @rappinloanagent

wow...you must have some sort of relationship with these people to reply to every comment that criticized this movie. It's time to face reality dude...this movie is nothing but a piece of shit!!! And that's the fuckin' truth...it's just dumb ass people like you who can't handle the truth. and as for "Interviewing", stop trying to make it sound like they got fame and fortune...I don't see anyone in this movie receiving any damn prestige in hollywood. you are an embarrassment.

  • @ready101okay

You are an embarrassment! This movie is FAR from bad, this movie is one of the best Hmong movies so far. You are entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine. When you make negative comments like that, you better be prepared for responses. This movie is progress for our people and our community, and it's irrelevant to compare it to Hollywood! No matter what you got to say about their fame or what not, this movie was SOLD OUT in theatre for its debut. That's successful enough!

  • @rappinloanagent

but you know what? it obvious that you are stuck in your little bubble...so keep on believing in your little fantasy that "this is the best hmong movie ever made"...when in reality it's crap. but according to the many comments made by people criticizing this movie, it sounds like i am right...it's crap, and people hate it. i'm just glad i'm not you, being unable to handle the truth.

  • @rappinloanagent

as for the movie being SOLD OUT (what a laugh), that was before people knew how shitty the movie was going to be. they'd already paid for the tickets, not knowing they were going to see a piece of crap. news flash dude, success is not define by a show being sold out..it is define by the satisfaction of the viewers. you can have a sold out show, but it is still a failure if the audience hates it. many people who bought a ticket or bought this movie, and regret they ever did so.

  • @ready101okay fuck u bitch, thats my sister. u talk alot behind ur fuckin screen.

  • @TheOrb023

yes, you're right I do talk a lot. but you know who else talks a lot behind their "fuckin screen"?--Your sister does. But at least I manage to speak out the truth, whereas your sister, and you for that matter, say are "blah blah blah..blah blah blah."

And yes, I also know that you want to fuck me--just like so many other people want to fuck me, but sorry...I don't fuck dumbass losers like you who can't handle the truth. So don't waste my time, this is a playground to me.

  • @rappinloanagent

i agree that this movie is far from bad, because it is closer to being "a piece of shit", and "a dumb ass movie". this movie didn't do shit for "our community", as you tried to put it. i don't see any hmong peeps benefiting from this crap. there ain't nothing to compete with. and FYI, Hollywood has everything to do with this...you were trying to make them sound all famous and important with their interview, like they made something big, when in reality they didn't do shit.

  • uh...wat can i say..da movie ish alright...not dat bad...still have sum edits to go..but i give dem props...

  • I haven't seen the movie yet, so i don't have anything to say lol but from the interview, very true. dao and houa can't speak Hmong that well but it's okay. im sure they are practicing everyday. lol

  • if you haven't seen this movie..then dont..this movie was put out in theater for one night for $10..not worth it at all..yia moua did a good job acting, but the other two need more help in acting..this movie does not show the whole detail from beginning to end..

  • just like dao said on the movie, houa has a way of smile really cute to him, and i think so too,,, also she is a fine girl and really georgous... so stop hatin... dao is phaj ej alright..

  • What's up with all the criticism? Chill out peoples. We should be supportive of our Hmong people. Who cares if their Hmong isn't all that great at least they can still speak it. Some Hmong people can't even understand Hmong anymore. And about the dumbass that said Hmong Green has to go. Wtf! We're all Hmong. We get angry that no one is helping the Hmong in Laos that's getting killed everyday, yet, we talk bad about our Hmong fellows. Doesn't make any sense.

  • Comment removed

  • What a faggot? I haven't seen a Damn Hmong movie shot like this. According to your Hmong writing you are FOB. That's the problem with dumb Hmongs like you. Always finding something wrong. No constructive criticism but just words a 12 years old would say.

  • She has an accent when she speaks hmong but I think it sounds cute. Plus, I think she's a good actor (and singer).

  • Okay I'm not about to read everyone's comments, but I think Jade is gorgeous. She looks natural and I like that. I'm contemplating purchasing this movie.

  • hahahahahahaha. funny kids. ya dissing them like ya know them personally. ya jux jealous they made the big screen. Jade's a fineass HMONG HMOOB girl. quit hatin MOTHA FUCKAZ!

  • dao and houa needs more practice on their hmong talking, but yia's hmong is okay...

  • Come on people, their hmong speaking abilities are fine. You guys are too critical, of course every generation is going to lose the language little by little. It's going to happen. Their hmong was obviously good enough because the whole script was written hmong. So they must know how to read, write and speak hmong. I'm sure that's better than alot of these people talking shit.

  • I wanna watch it.

  • toooooooo bad for our hmong america, can't even speak proper hmong no wonder the hmong thai and hmong laos movies are getting more attention.

  • @kl1000 yes and hmong thai and hmong laos can't speak proper english. What's your point??

  • That girl always want to be center of attention. Too childish. if she had a good attitude, maybe she would do better.

  • what the hell are you talking about...she is the most humble, traditional girl I've ever met. Don't judge unless you know people personally.

  • @timmermolly

    Ha! Jealous!!

  • @timmermolly

Lol! jealous! you know Jade's prettier than you-thats y you hating. and talk about a good attitude? you're the one going into comments, talking shit about ppl. look at yourself! you are sad..

  • hey is that girl

    from tou and mai

  • they either can't speak hmong or are fobs. lol

  • What kind of stupid comment is these? They can't speak Hmongs or are FOBs. FOB's can speak Hmong cuz they Fresh of the Boat. They too Americanize.

  • And to add...He's is also doing films.

  • Mother white Hmong and father green Hmong..But father grew up in White Hmong part of country.

  • is yia a christian?

  • not to b mean...

but there english is better then there hmong..

well for the two younger ones..

  • also, very funny how they are Hmong and they spoke Hmong language worst than their English language.

  • thats how its becoming nowadays...our generation is becoming like that, sadly....

  • Yia is a Christian. I see him at church once in awhile.

  • where is the church located? MN? CA? WI?

  • Fresno, CA

  • Yia need to stick to fighting.

i think he can act good, but he look weak in movies, he need to fight again in the ring.

  • what about doing a hmong movie based on Yia's fightings..............

  • that would have been much better, i don't care about look, Yia could have been the hero in that movie and beat off the baddies and save his girl.

Tony Jaa wasn't a good looking guy, yeah he's awesome!!!!!!

  • hey, the trailer was a killer man! hmong people are getting better! the actress and actors are really good! looking forward to seeing it!

  • wat movie did he played in when he was filming in thai;and

  • this is a good interview but the gurl can't really act out and the way she talk is like she can't speak hmong correctly and it sounds funny....nice though

  • Come on guys, you could have done a better job lighting this interview and some editing with close-ups too. The quality you put out there should be in everything including the interviews. Let me know next time, I can help you shoot and edit. By the way did the movie come out yet for purchase? Look forward to seeing it! It's constructive criticism...keep it up.

  • Thanks for the advice. This was shot on just regular DVcam and was put together real fast. We will have a better edit version on the DVD next year. The whole movie was shot on RED Rock and film lens. This movie will be released in theaters in selected Regal Cinemas during spring break 2009

  • Hey if you guys do a reshoot of the interview I'm more than happy to help out...I have my own equipment with 35adapter too. So did you win your mma fight in fresno? I was talking to you during sac new year...I'm from the bay area, do some mma too. I wanted to come watch it but couldn't find more info, date/time.

  • Thanks for sharing your experiences. The matter of speaking green hmong or white hmong is no different than speaking mandarin or cantonese. Be proud we have two different dialects.
