The sound of the BMW seems very generic to me. Also I expected more tire smoke than that. Looks like the car doesn't really want to drift even set up this way.

Amazing...Well done. That has got to be one of the hardest engine swaps anybody can do. Had a good look through the pictures. Great workmanship. E39 M5 gearbox does not fit a s85 V10. You have to use the e90/ 92 six speed. Are you running the factory ecu? I can see that you have replaced the fly by wire with a cable. Looks like you have fitted a e28/e34 rear diff too. What ratio are you running? 3:07 or 3:46?
I like it, the build looks mighty solid, but how much more weight under the hood compared to the boxer? With some reasonable tuning and quality aftermarket parts you can squeeze more than 500 horsepower out of the boxer. Although if this is an na v10 there's much more potential

Wow am I the only person who thinks this is dumb? I think they ruined it. The flat fours can already make plenty of power if you want them to, and now with that big heavy V10 you ruin the weight balance. Also, AWD > RWD. It's just not a real Subaru anymore.
