Android on an HTC Touch Pro2

Hey could you help me please? I downloaded all those files and put them on my storage card but when I want to start the haret. file it tells me to: Launch a script file. Default path is the same where the executable lives(<-? :D) and there's a spot where default.txt stands and a "run" button on the side but when i push that it says that it can't open the file. I just don't get it.

I have an HTC Touch Pro 2, I'm disinterested in using the basic phone functions, cannot afford a data plan, and I'm curious about it's ability to run a linux distribution, so I could possibly get skype and use it's wifi functionality instead. I've just received my new HTC Touch Pro 2 through Sprint because my old was having problems with the screen and every time I try to boot the android OS, it would freeze. On my old HTC Touch Pro 2 which I got in 2009 would boot up just fine but it has no service so I wouldn't be able to mess with it. I tried downloading android OS through other sites and they all end up the same way. Would you know why this is happening?

Fucking Windows Mobile Sucks. I regret Getting the HTC Touch Pro 2 for US Cellular. I have to hard reset it at least 3 times a day if not more. I now have a replacement HTC TP2 for almost a week now. Not nearly as many resets as previous. Still hangs, freezes, stalls and lags though. TIme to fuckin get rid of this Microsoft pos and get an android powered phone.

Okay I have downloaded the Android Version 2.1 w/ Sense UI for the spint touch pro 2, because none of the other downloads worked what happen is I download it to my computer the I put it on my sd card then i restart the phone then i open the storage card and I open android and it downloads to the phone the in the start menu i click on andriod and I turn on the cmnd and the the 3d hardware and it starts to download but then it just keeps saying timed out and keeps looping any help
