  • The state I live in has ridiculous laws about consent. If the patient's an adult and says she doesn't want treatment, they can't treat her.

    As far as I could tell, they have no implied consent rules.

    I told the nurse my sister was in an altered conscious state, and he still said they have to let her go if she refuses treatment.

    IDK what made him change his mind, maybe all my fuming about it, but he finally decided to help me find her and get treatment for herself.

    Ridiculous, I say.
