yes a lot of swedish speak a really good english because they learn it early. plus i've heard it's because of frequencies when you talk, swedish and english are close, it helps a lot!

I looked up on the wikipedia article on sweden myself, and it seem that they really do devote a lot of resources to studying foreign languages, and with much success too, which is obvious from the way Eemma speaks. I know countries like Japan, Korea..etc that devotes even more time and money to studying English, but in my life never seen a single person who speaks english half as well as Eemma. World isn't fair:)

mmmmm i've heard, but maybe i'm wrong, that japanese study a lot of written english, which is stupid to learn a language. it's even more obvious with french. the only way to learn it easily is to talk french. and it's proven scientificly that french isn't difficult...if you live in a french speaking country:)btw french just can't write their own language, but they speak it:)

lol Nice discussion going on here :P In sweden we start learning english at a pretty early age and we hear english all the time, stuff is not dubbed on TV over here. And of course music. I met a girl in Japan btw, that had tought herself english just from listening to english spoken/sung music. Pretty amazing.
