Hey thank you for uploading this vid. Is it worth dropping $100 on the adapter for HD radio? I'm debating on getting it or using the $100 towards the bluetooth adapter.
I think that depends on how many HD channels are in your area. We only have ONE in Philly...wish I knew that before I got mine. I would've kept XM. But other than that the sound quality is great! I had Bluetooth in my last vehicle and really didn't use it much...I prefer an earpiece.
thanks for all the videos,i have this same unit and im considering getting the hd tuner.also i was wondering about the remote, ive seen bad reviews on it saying it doesnt control much, but it only cost 20 bucks,is it worth it?
Yup! I talked about this several times before. Check out my other videos for help...specailly the one where I talk about my 32gb sd card. I explain how to do things in my descriptions.
I got talked into buying a JVC830DVD...Should've stuck with pioneer...I lost my subwoofer power. My question is how much can you control your subs volume on your unit. For example - the JVC only lets me go from 0 to 8. My old pioneer cd player let me go from -24 to +6. Is it the same for the DVD Player?
FINALLY after countless website reviews and searches- I find someone that can definitively review how this works / (or not so well) interface wise with the 3200. Your video is VERY thorough!
I have the 3200BT and was curious about adding the HD. Your video so clearly points out how it removes the many GOOD features offered in the traditional radio tuner. Sad that a new HD 20 tuner- with a CURRENT model Pioneer head still displays so little info.
Thanks for posting, man. I'm looking at the AVH-P3200DVD unit and was considering the HD tuner accessory.
I love my HD radio at home (lots of HD stations in my area). But for this, the idea of extra add-ons for a unit that's already aftermarket made me skeptical. After seeing this clip, I'll stick with the stock unit.
can you use the even FM frequently for example 91.8 etc. ?

"meh" for HD radio just get higher quality music from the internet, stick it on your sd card or usb key and play it on the unit =)

HD radio is a must nowadays. Have the same tuner on my 4200DVD.
It does suck that on the presets menu it doesnt display even the frequency.
Still HD is the way to roll.

Sure does! Level -24 to +6 and Frequency 50hz to 125hz. Phase normal to reverse. Loudness, digital EQ, bass booster, and source level adjuster.
