  • If XWF had managed to get a TV contract I dont think there'd be a TNA still around today - it had a lot of potential!

  • it would have been good if the xwf had stll been around

  • @MattitudeMember How can you miss a company that only held 2 television tapings and never was seen by anybody? As my dad said about Bonanza: the Lost Episodes, which applies to XWF: The Lost Episodes, "there is a reason why they were lost." I bought the XWF 3 disc set cheap (why they needed 3 discs for 3 episodes less than 1 hour each I do not know) and it is just fun to watch and rip on Mystery Science Theater 3000 style. A bunch of roid monsters and the epic (FAIL) Piper / Sable feud.

  • why did tna survive and not this? they had HOGAN

  • @Yoni123 TNA survives because their $ mark (Dumb Dixie Carter) is stupider than the moron $ mark who funded the XWF. The $ mark who funded the XWF crap figured out after 2 sets of tapings that Hogan and his stooges (Hart, Knobbs, and Valentine) were ripping him off, so he wisely closed XWF down. 10 years and the moron Carter family have not figured out they are being ripped off by Jarrett, Russo, Hogan, Bishoff, et cetera. TNA is a bigger EPIC FAIL than XWF was as Hogan = FAIL.

  • I miss Tony Schiavone. I tried to add him as a friend on Facebook, and he said no. Drag...

  • @Sh0ckmaster I do not miss Fat Tony Shillvone. I never need to hear him scream again "this is the greatest night in the history of our sport." Shillvone is pretty much universally reviled in the wrestling business. I heard an interview with Fat Tony once where he said he never wanted to be in wrestling. He just got in it because he was working for the Crockett's minor league baseball team and they made him do their wrestling as well. Now, he does baseball on the radio and enjoys that.

  • XWF was the continuation to WCW 2001, and TNA was the continuation to XWF, TNA should buy the XWF, then WWE should buy TNA and do a "WCW: After The Fall" 3 disc set.

  • lol XWF

  • Hogan and Perfect looked right out of 1989. Only problem was the small dead crowd. They needed a much better building.

  • XWF was the last form of WCW in till TNA

  • sucks

  • xwf is making a comeback on TV jan 2011 - according to sources, posted o nmy blog along with your video - linda randall - see the idea girl says on wordpress for details... brian knobbs and jimmy hart's going to run the new show and compete against WWE and TNA :)

  • Could anyone tell me if this federation is still in business and where one could see matches?

  • LOL I was wondering where Sable went. XWF? well, TNA certainly lasted longer than them but with Hogan on TNA they're gonna kill that promotion too. They should do what RAW did and have all the wrestlers in the back have a mutiny and tear up the ring. Anything to boost their shitty ratings!

  • @MrDman21 Sable tried to jump to WCW and filed a frivolous sexual harassment law suit against McMahon to try to get out of her WWF contract. Sable was laughed out of court and spent the next several years making meaningless personal appearances at minor league hockey and baseball games. Her WWF contract expired in 2001, so she worked these crap XWF tapings. In 2003, she banged McMahon, so he forgave her and gave her a 1 year pity run before she and Lesnar left the WWF together for good.

  • when was this show going on??

  • What load of shite, Hogan deserves to get his crippled ass handed to him for ruining Curts career , he could even job to him in this shit of promotion - disgraceful.

    RIP Henning.

  • @kinkabala Curt Hennig's career was ruined by back injuries which started in 1991 and addiction / abuse of drugs, not Hulk Hogan. Hennig doing 1 meaningless job on a worthless television taping that never aired any place hardly hurt his career. Actually, WWF heard Hennig carried Hulk to an okay match here and signed Hennig shortly after that for his last WWF run starting at Royal Rumble 2002. Hennig was still messed up on drugs and was fired shortly after that before dying of a drug overdose.

  • What year is this match from?

  • @xraycat30 2001 was when this short lived XWF abortion took place.

  • Does anyone know what arenas the XWF events took place in?

  • @JugganautJimmaJam94 All the XWF television tapings (I think there were 2 sets of them) took place at Universal Studios Orlando, where TNA now tapes their television in a garage next to the Incredible Hulk roller coaster. I think XWF did a couple of house shows, then nobody showed up for those and their other shows were cancelled. It seems like the couple of XWF house shows were in Texas, maybe near Amarillo because I remember Terry Funk was booked for them.

  • it failed because hulk hogan pulled out and wwe raided the talent before jimmy could sign people to contracts thus they couldn't get tv deals BUT jimmy harts been talking about promoting again the xwf website is back and if the runours are true jimmys preparing to bring the xwf back. that's why knobs is strangely abscent from tna and that's why tna and wwe are signing anyone with name power I mean wwe are bringing in stone cold as a commentator to stop dixie or jimmy signing him.

  • @GrappleMania01 stone cold is wwe for life, he would never go to another organization. if jimmy hart brought back the xwf then it would seem like he would be competeing against his friend, hulk hogan. i'm not so sure hogan would appreciate that. xwf seemed like a low-rate wcw nitro. i liked the idea though.

  • your wrong check the xwf's wikipedia page! and as far as steve austin goes he recently said he watches tna and has many friends there my guesse is if austin was interested in wrestling again and if tna could offer him an easy schedule and good money he would probablly wind up in tna! do a google search "steve austin tna friends" and you'll find that interview.

  • @GrappleMania01 he cant dude, his knees are fucked up

  • how did this fail? did you see all the big names? I hope TNA's management doesn't blow up like all the other good wrestling promotions.

  • @beyondstitches - Is coming back the website is back , jimmy hart is in talk with G4 for a T.V.

  • lol XWF is now known as TNA ;)

  • @HipnosisV1Games it is?

  • @WisdomRiver lol well everyone from XWF at that time went to TNA and XWF Disappeared

  • lol about 3 years ago me and a friend were wrestling and we came up with EWF then a year l8r i sed how about XWF we went with that then we went to a store and found a dvd that sed XWF WRESTLING we were freaked out

  • X Wrestling Federation was Jimmy Hart's company that of course didn't last cause of management.

  • Was this like WCW-2?

    Before Tna came about?

  • @WWEtitantr0nz Yes, this was WCW 2 before TNA started and became WCW 2. I hate calling TNA or XWF WCW 2 because neither had near the success WCW did even when WCW was dying, but both TNA and XWF are run exactly like WCW by the same morons that killed WCW. Hogan and his stooges (Hart, Knobbs, and Valentine) found a rich oil guy $ mark and got him to pay them and all the other WCW wash outs McMahon would not hire to make the XWF. The $ mark got smart and that was the end of XWF after a month.

  • but it got redesign in 2007

  • i wonder who owns the rights 2 the "xwf" name...'cuz...given the right talent...the right backing(s)...AND THE RIGHT ALL OTHER THINGS...it would/should/could TOTALLY M'R-F'N' WORK-OUT!!!!!...WAY BETTER than this 1 did!!!

  • jimmy hart owns it

  • Tony Shevoni was always a great voice to hear.

  • Sable was the CEO of this short lived wrestling program!

  • God the fake audience sounds are annoying.

  • no shit sherlock...

  • its not fake.

  • no really wow

  • WtF is XwF???? Never heard of it, but intrigued.... Is it still around???

  • XWF is the left overs of WCW but without Russo help .

  • They should have called it XCW.

  • Was it Xcitement Wrestling Federation

  • The Hogan match is on the 2006 WWE Hogan 4-disc set. I'd forgotten all about the XWF until I watched that DVD. The tapings were only a few weeks before Lawler went back to the WWE.

  • This looks like WCW, but with a different name!

  • i own that

  • Jerry Lawler + Tony Schiavone= bizarro world

  • Hulk Hogan SUCKSSSSSS

  • TNA replaced XWF Didn't it?

  • not even

  • NO!

  • i was at the 2nd ever live event show in green bay wisconsin at the brown county arena

  • What channel was xwf ever on anyhow?

  • whats XWF ???? i thought i knew wrestling it looks pretty cool

  • Xtreme Wrestling Federation. It was on for about a year or so. It was pretty cool.

  • hogan vs mr. perfect

this is probably better than anything TNA did or can ever do

isnt that asian looking lady from the nitro girls?

  • tna really sucks.. this showed a lot of promise and look what happened.. tna is on life support..

  • yea to bad they didn't run with Raven

  • I agree with that sir!

  • XWF was great!

  • this should've lasted it was way better than tna

  • yeah right you must be a doink the clown fan

tna is the best fuck the rest

    r.i.p xwf or xwwf

  • fuck tna they're dying a quick death, they're worse than wcw b 4 they died

  • @newschoolz it's still around apparently just nothing has happened since like 2008 - 2009

  • @JonathanHidahl XWF is long dead. It only had a 3 month run from Nov 2001 to Feb 2002. The XWF website was relaunched to sell their lost episodes on DVD and even announced they would start touring again. Based on my knowledge that never happened and their website is no longer running.

  • @MisterMeddle Oh wikipedia is a bitch huh?

  • @JonathanHidahl Obviously that's your only source so yeah it is. You'd probably build a better knowledge if you actually follow the dirt sheets and the independent scene like the rest of the cool kids.

  • @MisterMeddle I actually do buddy , just XWF isn't even relevant so it doesn't matter

  • @JonathanHidahl Well obviously it matters enough to you to be commenting on the status of the XWF.

  • @MisterMeddle nope, maybe in your eyes but not in mine,

  • @JonathanHidahl says the guy that keeps commenting on a XWF video.

  • @MisterMeddle says the guy taking about himself

p.s. stop fucking ur mom & sister & having retarded babies like urself. 1....2....3! haha I win u lose

  • Comment removed

  • @JonathanHidahl lol talking about relevance.... like i said anything about myself to begin with. that was probably the first mother/sister (didn't realize i had one?) joke i heard since junior high. congratulations for making an idiot out of yourself with your lame incest comedy attempt. dumbass. #FAIL

  • @newschoolz XWF, WWA, TNA They all had pretty much the same wrestlers, they all kinda merged into the same company (I might be wrong but didnt XWF hold their shows where the Impact Zone is now?)

  • please tell me you got full matches of this stuff?
