An associate presented Romney with a plan to move into areas where there were 10 to 20 stationery stores, printing companies & small office supply stores & build 1 big store, undercut their prices & drive them all out of business & how this could be done w/ 1/3rd the # of employees

OBAMA 2012 BILLION DOLLAR MARKETING MACHINE will make it thought and known that Romney is the "Gordon Gekko" of pols. Romney-Bain track record is not all funding success or restructuring distress but will be pilloried for "asset extraction." Many are going to be aghast when the Romney track-record is framed as someone that closed plants, fired workers and then he and his firm took hundreds of millions of dollars from the deal.
Wall Street is not attractive in 2012!

@qncsc Romney's being vetted now and it's working to his advantage. If Obama goes after Romney on his participation in the private sector, it will backfire. Obama, as president, has invested in companies such as Solyndra that then went under and many people lost jobs (there are at least 11 more Solyndra's that the MSM has not latched onto yet). Obama didn't directly gain money from this, but he did gain campaign contributions, and he ran up the national debt by hundreds of billions.

@777NCM - thanks for your thoughtful response. perhaps the most cogent, thoughtful that i have received on yt...and informative! agree with your pt re vetting. but if Rom-Bain record is $500m in profits from shuddering firms (excluding the billions in dev/restruct), a skillful-clever hand can play that in an impactful way. Obama will be given great leniency for his foibles, i believe (for various), as has been done many times in the past. Romney electability was NO real baggage, NO negs
