I found myself watching the computer do alot of the fun stuff, like beating people up and throwing them down stairs, or pulling their gas mask off. The player should be doing that, not the computer. The mission with the jet, you don't even get to fly it then!! But in multiplayer, you can't even have 2 people in one. Overall this game is a over hyped peice of junk, so don't bother, and if you already bought it like me, then just throw it away so you can save someone else the agony.
How did anyone think 4 jets split between that many people could ever, even get close to being fair? Talk about realism, is every army in the world limited to 2 planes? Plus, if you do get one, it takes forever to get any decent weapons on the damn thing. Even worse, if you happen to be near one when it spawns, oh, there's someone already in it, every time. I haven't played MW3, but I would bet money it's better. Also, the campaign sucked to.
Don't waste your money on this piece of crap. So many bad things... you can't customize while you wait for the next round, or quit either. @TAG5757 1st the server can only have up to 24 players not 60, 2nd if u want a jet for every fuckin player then go play ace combat or hawx, look am with u, there is some annoying stuff like u mentioned as knifing when it doesnt work and tactical flashlight in ur eye balls caused by ur own team mates, but come on the game is nice, and just fyi this is the 1st battlefield game i get so its not like ama hardcore fan for BF franchise and being defensive, but the overall of the outcome is decent IMO

Spec ops is a carbon copy of firefight, even worse in some aspects. Multiplayer, though not bad is also a redone and overhyped version of mw1 again. But people spamming fmg9 akimbo, and type 95, it gets dull after watching the killcam where a guy just sprays a weapon and kills. Mw3 is a good game, its fanbase, and its haters together make it terrible. Me? I play halo.
From an unbiased point of view (never played either of any game series), judging from the gameplay, I'd have to say BF3 is much better. ESPECIALLY the graphics and sound.

the DLCs in COD are RIDICULOUS. i bought battlefield 3 2 days ago, the limited edition with remade BF2 maps, BF2 vehicles and new guns costs a 49,99€, while the game alone costs the same so the DLC is literally free. it includes 8 new unlockable guns, 4 maps from bf2, and an additional fighter plane. if you buy it seperately it costs a 15€. what did the COD DLCs bring you 4 maps for 15€? LOOOL pure robbery.

@ofrst LOL and what about the infinite air strikes in COD? haha and linear is great... look how linear COD is. every explosion is scripted i wonder you can fire your gun whenever you want. probably in black ops 2 you'll just be able to pull the trigger when the game allows you to do so. ROFL.
every FPS is a bit linear, but this shit is like go there, now you must go there and if you don't you got this stupid message you are leaving the battle area, or something like that. There is no tactics at all, everything is trigger caused. I'm not comparing COD and BF, it's same shit to me, I personally prefer Role Playing but I love to play FPS at weekends just for fun but this time i was frustrated because of bugs and crashes, anyway i'll wait for patch.
i hate it when people say that CoD never changes.. what about battlefield... the gameplay from bf1 bf2 bfbc bfbc2 and bf3 barely had any difference in gameplay. just because the graphics changed drastically in bf3 doesnt make it a different game. when mw1 came out it had the best graphics at those times just as the ps3 and xbox came out. im pretty sure that by the next gen consoles, CoD will improve their engine. the CoD engine doesnt need to be replaced it has been tried and tested.already
@darthmatoro are you fucking stupid? bf2 changed significantly since it had a commander mode which bf1942 didn't have, it had this hud with order you could give by pressing the Q button. you could unlock guns. it had rewards you could unlock for i dont know 1000 repairs, 50 kills with a mounted gun etc., can't tell about bf2142 since i've never played it. then bfbc/bfbc2 destructible environment, scopes you could attach to your gun, mortar strikes you could call in as a scout.
@darthmatoro bf3 has badass graphics while mw3 uses a modified QUAKE 3 engine which is settled in medieval times of computer gaming. you can unlock bipods attach to your mg and increase your accuracy when standing behind a low wall or when in prone position. you can improve your vehicles with tow launchers, reactive armor, etc as well as planes and choppers. almost every BF had different stuff than the previous while COD changes nothing.
@darthmatoro how are they supposed to change anything when they release every year a new title. in mw3 they technicaly recycled models, guns etc. added a few more and probably spent the most time on how to draw money out of your pocket. various gaming magazines rate COD high just because they don't wanna offend all the fanboys who buy them. in germany BF3 got 93% while MW3 got 90%. LOL. so they satisfied their paying fanboys and avoided making a fool of themselves.
Boycott BF3, its buggy as hell and can not be modded. Fuck DICE. Fuck EA. Modders kept BF2 running for years by busting their ass off to fix all the bugs and improve the gameplay. WIthout support from modders to fix all the sloppy DICE programming, this game is hardcore phucked.

Honestly I can see Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 being considered completely different games, rather than just in game type or genre. It seems MW3 is more role-based in the circumstances of how combat can be conceived in claustrophobic hand-to-hand street combat, whereas Battlefield seems to focus on more the Vietnam approach, with huge terrains and the expansion into operable vehicles and terrain alterations. From this view I feel both may have their selling points, but both are greatgames

Spec ops is a carbon copy of firefight, even worse in some aspects. Multiplayer, though not bad is also a redone and overhyped version of mw1 again. But people spamming fmg9 akimbo, and type 95, it gets dull after watching the killcam where a guy just sprays a weapon and kills. Mw3 is a good game, its fanbase, and its haters together make it terrible. Me? I play halo.

the DLCs in COD are RIDICULOUS. i bought battlefield 3 2 days ago, the limited edition with remade BF2 maps, BF2 vehicles and new guns costs a 49,99€, while the game alone costs the same so the DLC is literally free. it includes 8 new unlockable guns, 4 maps from bf2, and an additional fighter plane. if you buy it seperately it costs a 15€. what did the COD DLCs bring you 4 maps for 15€? LOOOL pure robbery.

every FPS is a bit linear, but this shit is like go there, now you must go there and if you don't you got this stupid message you are leaving the battle area, or something like that. There is no tactics at all, everything is trigger caused. I'm not comparing COD and BF, it's same shit to me, I personally prefer Role Playing but I love to play FPS at weekends just for fun but this time i was frustrated because of bugs and crashes, anyway i'll wait for patch.

i hate it when people say that CoD never changes.. what about battlefield... the gameplay from bf1 bf2 bfbc bfbc2 and bf3 barely had any difference in gameplay. just because the graphics changed drastically in bf3 doesnt make it a different game. when mw1 came out it had the best graphics at those times just as the ps3 and xbox came out. im pretty sure that by the next gen consoles, CoD will improve their engine. the CoD engine doesnt need to be replaced it has been tried and tested.already

@darthmatoro are you fucking stupid? bf2 changed significantly since it had a commander mode which bf1942 didn't have, it had this hud with order you could give by pressing the Q button. you could unlock guns. it had rewards you could unlock for i dont know 1000 repairs, 50 kills with a mounted gun etc., can't tell about bf2142 since i've never played it. then bfbc/bfbc2 destructible environment, scopes you could attach to your gun, mortar strikes you could call in as a scout.

@darthmatoro bf3 has badass graphics while mw3 uses a modified QUAKE 3 engine which is settled in medieval times of computer gaming. you can unlock bipods attach to your mg and increase your accuracy when standing behind a low wall or when in prone position. you can improve your vehicles with tow launchers, reactive armor, etc as well as planes and choppers. almost every BF had different stuff than the previous while COD changes nothing.

@darthmatoro how are they supposed to change anything when they release every year a new title. in mw3 they technicaly recycled models, guns etc. added a few more and probably spent the most time on how to draw money out of your pocket. various gaming magazines rate COD high just because they don't wanna offend all the fanboys who buy them. in germany BF3 got 93% while MW3 got 90%. LOL. so they satisfied their paying fanboys and avoided making a fool of themselves.

Boycott BF3, its buggy as hell and can not be modded. Fuck DICE. Fuck EA. Modders kept BF2 running for years by busting their ass off to fix all the bugs and improve the gameplay. WIthout support from modders to fix all the sloppy DICE programming, this game is hardcore phucked.

Honestly I can see Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 being considered completely different games, rather than just in game type or genre. It seems MW3 is more role-based in the circumstances of how combat can be conceived in claustrophobic hand-to-hand street combat, whereas Battlefield seems to focus on more the Vietnam approach, with huge terrains and the expansion into operable vehicles and terrain alterations. From this view I feel both may have their selling points, but both are greatgames
