Glad you managed to get it to work. The lyricstation software is a buggy piece of work that is for sure. Having lyrics is more of a luxury than it is anything as it would take a lot of time and effort to get a good sized music collection to have proper scrolling lyrics. My tutorial was specifically for the P2 as I don't have a P3 (yet!?) and would imagine that it may not work exactly the same. Thanks for the comment though!

You need to replace one of the files in the software with the one I provided on my website. The link is in this video description. I don't beleive the software has been updated to work for Vista or Mac but I could be wrong.
2 Ways... you can plug it into the wall with a blackberry style charger that allows you to plug in a USB cable. You can buy universal USB chargers that work for handheld devices that work for the P2
and its USB cable. It is not possible to charge and Play the P2 with the supplied cable when plugged into your computers USB port. You can also get a Check my other video on chargers and battery life for info on the Charger.
Yeah I doubt samsung has adopted this program to vista. It has issues with XP and doesn't seem well supported. Sorry about that. Their are other programs that let you add lyrics to mp3s but it is a word-by-word type of thing... not good.

Sorry about that. The program at 2:10 is the Samsing Lyric Studio. When you download the install file (from my mediafire site or elsewhere) you just doubleclick the install file and it should start the installation. Then once you open it, it should ask to be upgraded.. allow the auto-upgrade. Then at 2:10 is what you end up with.

Hmm good question! Actually as far as I know the Lyrics Station software is PC only and won't install on a mac. Unfortunately I am not a Mac user so I have limited information on this. I am going to explore this issue further and get back to you here and to you directly as soon as I get more info. Adding the lyrics won't be difficult but timing the words so they highlight on time is the tricky part. I'll get back to you asap.

The songs that show up as VBR (Variable Bit Rate) have been encoded as VBR instead of CBR (Constant Bit Rate). Lyric Station does not support VBR encoded mp3s. Your only option would be to decode the mp3 to a wav file and then encode it as a standard (CBR) mp3 file. Then you would be able to add lyrics. Issue their is that VBR mp3's typically have better overall quality than a CBR would have. So to convert it over would actually mean accepting some quality loss. It can all be done though.
Their may be a program that can do a straight VBR to CBR conversion but I don't have, and am not aware of any. Their are plenty of free programs that will allow single or batch decoding and encoding. If you decide you want to start converting VBRs to CBRs and want help finding some freeware software(s) to do it let me know.
Hey, Im having troubles downloading the lyric station. I downloaded it, and it shows up on my desktop as a winrar thing. When I open it, there's a bunch of files, but it doesn't show up as a program. And its not under the Samsung program files. Do you know what to do?
The file that youre opening on your desktop is the program in a compressed WinRAR format. When you open it you are actually seeing the contents of the file. What you need to do is "extract" those files to a new folder. I would recommend right clicking the file on your desktop and click the option called "Extract to Lyric Station v2.45\" Then once it creates a folder of that program, click the Setup.exe file within that folder. From there you should be able to continue along with my video.
Hey, I did what you wrote but I couldn't find "Setup.exe" I have other three "Setup's" including one that says "Setup.inx". How do I find the other one?

Btw i got a question about p2 bleutooth.3 motnhs ago when i want connect to a mobile phone, I pressed on the search button. P2 was then searching for mobile phone. And if i want to connect then i press on the phone i want to connect. But now i can not search for the phones. So how is this possible.
Yeah I've noticed that myself. I am pretty sure they snuck it in via a firmware update or patch. You now have to use a phone to search for the P2. Once you have paired with a phone it will save it in the list, allowing you to initiate a pair from the P2 thereafter. I think they wanted to prevent people from pairing with a strangers phone and trying to make calls. Some phones allow you to pair with a password and no button press requirements. Thanks for bringing this up.

Well if you can add lyrics you just need to go to your mp3's within the Lyrics Station program and pick one. Once you've highlighted an mp3 click "Marking" or "Search" at the top. If Marking doesn't apply lyrics automatically then try searching. You just need to search for the song and find a lyrics file that matches your song. Once you find the lyrics and save/mark them to the song you copy it to your P2 and try watching the lyrics. I did show the marking/saving part pretty good in the video.
no i meant that when you open up the lyric program the p2 icon doesnt show up on the side so i cant click it and add my lyrics to the songs. why is this?
Ahh well make sure your P2 is connected to your computer via the USB cable. Once it's connected you can browse to the "My Computer" folder from within Lyrics Station and you should see "P2" as an option. Once you click on it and then the "Music" folder you should see all of the songs on your P2.
well do you have to have the highest korean firmware for it to show up and when lyric station is on your video it looks like the P2 shows up as something different than what mine is showing, what icon is yours showing?
In the Lyrics Station program it should show up as "YP-P2". There may also be a "YP-P2 (MTP)" option that does not work anyway. The firmware on my P2 is Korean v5.10. The Korean firmware is required in order to have the Lyrics option on the P2.

Hmmm the only thing that can prevent the YP-P2 profile from appearing is the Playersinfo.ini file. Their is a P2 entry in that file that allows it to show up in the list. Please make sure you have downloaded my file and Replaced your existing file (in the Program Files\Samsung\Lyrics Station\ folder. Sorry this is my fault. I forgot to add a step about updating the Playersinfo.ini file in the Lyric Station folder. To fix this go to the link specified in the Video Description and replace your current Playersinfo.ini file with the one I have provided. It will give you the "YP-P2" option. I am sorry for this inconvenience.
Looks like I forgot to mention that you may have to go into the middle menu while your listening and turn "Lyrics/TTS" to ON before it will show. It should be "ON" by default but may require adjustment.
