I realy liked you're Time Lapse! I just have one question, how do you make it? I know how to make a demo and how to record it to edit but I don't know how I can put the camera where I wan't. I tried using the Demo Smoother but then I can't move the camera, and I turned drive on!

Type in cl_ragdoll_fade_time 1600 (or a higher number) to make the ragdolls stay there longer if you want.

Also make your decal limit to 4096 in the options.

flamov is correct. lordgloppy, he is going forward in depth, that doesn't make sense. you basically record a demo, pause it, then do the startmovie command and use the wasd keys. at least i'm pretty sure that's how it's done.

You can kind of tell, because when you see the medic still, the shoulder goes behind the medpack, which wouldn't happen if it was just a regular screenshot.

But one question , as i noticed u smoothed , but to see all actions while smoothing , yourself had to be in that place for that time to register or movements and stuff. So did you smooth in STV , was close to where u wanted to smooth all the time or some other magic? Im curious. Btw nice AE skill.

I just spectated in-game. Found a pretty chaotic area and recorded, I accidentally left the draw distance once or twice but fading 2 clips with a still shot fixed that.

How'd you manipulate the camera angle and playback speed? When I view .dems that I recorded I never see any controls.

playing the demos through demoui (type demoui in console) and you get a playback menu, from there you can "smooth" it by reseting the camera angle to whatever and where ever you want it to be. (demoui in console or just press shift + f2)
