    Part II is BEST

    Part III is good.

  • @dpd06 Amen! :)

  • @scippi94 yeah it so does and when the rock starts to come in sorta reminds me off a boss fight

  • Muse, please create more rock symphony. Pleassssssseeeeee...

  • i wish these symphonies were longer. FUCKING EPIC

  • No thing is as great, deep, beautiful and powerful as art..

  • Exogenesis Symphony is Muse's masterpiece. Then again 99% of their tracks are masterpieces in their own right.

  • I would take this man's seed.

  • ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) MUSE Y U SO AWESOME.

  • 21 people suck

  • My favororite part!

  • sometimes they're situations you just can't describe what you're feeling ,'cause you don't find any words to describe with...now it's one of this moments!

  • God I love that one par from 0:00 to 4:02

  • It's not a song, is the anthem for Space Exploration

  • @lecatie

David Bowie calls and says "hi".

  • way too epic to be real

  • waltz or die.

  • listen from 1:52 <3..... Muse is the best!

  • @unknownbt OR you could listen to the entire thing and hear that AMAZING piano part (:

  • @themusicalHAT I listen all Muse songs! :)

  • All 3 symphonies were hard to play during the resistance tour...cause of the towers..and lack of orchestra instruments..but it would be great for them to play it at the Olympics!!!..Imagine on the opening ceremony with the dancers and lights moving to the symphony and not to mention Sir Elton John helping matt on the piano...it would be beautiful..and best of all Muse would not have to hold back with the budget!!!!!!..lol

  • @letiquia it it wasn't paid for by tax money, then I'd say that would be an excellent idea

  • @letiquia Matt Bellamy doesn't need Elton John to help with the piano. He would already be epic enough. ;)

  • @letiquia Capital M on Matt :D

  • i LOVE this whoollleee symphony.. It's soooo peaceful and beautiful in any possible way ♥ :DDD

  • Totally quoted the Rach2 Piano Concerto. Totally awesome! Love it!

  • best Muse song since Citizen Erased ?

  • why can't anyone understand him the way I do? I mean "spread pour goats to the stars"? where and how did you catch that? my sister thought she heard something about melting cars in the dead of night in SMBH

  • @kylewise14 I thought it said something about rocketships

  • I love the whole Symphony, it is wonderful sounds at it's best. I am also a fan of Queen and The Bay City Rollers :) Joking aside, this is a monumental piece of work. My big brother 'baggsed' the slow bit from Layla, I am baggsing Part 3 of this to be walked down the asile to my cremation, I would be really honoured by that.

  • MATT. You HAVE to play this live. This is an order.

    Your supervisor

    -God

  • Not Rachmaninoff.. Frederic Chopin... Its beatiful the piano, but they do it differrent... Its like, take a increreble peace of art like Chopin compositor, and make it even better or different like muse does... Simply amazing...

  • @Joeheadred yea, i've noticed they're a fan of chopin bcuz its been in some of their songs :P

  • @Joeheadred

Please don't suggest they take music from Chopin and make it "better" again. Great song though.

  • @Joeheadred different of course, better impossible.

  • It's "codes."

  • they drew heavily from Rachmaninoff here. Listen to the 2nd and 3rd piano concert of that composer ...

  • they drew heavily from Rachmaninoff here. Listen to the 2nd and 3rd piano concert of that composer ...

  • Exogenisis Symphony changed my life. Really.

  • 21 People just got sucked into a SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLE whilst induring terrible HYSTERIA whilst FALLING DOWN a SPIRAL STATIC piece of UNNINTENDED and OVERDUE pain ;) enjoy the music

  • @partybobblehead overdone, but much appreciated... :P

  • @partybobblehead there was no BOREDOM as they were FALLING DOWN into a CAVE with no way to ESCAPE. They are building up FURY because they have no GUIDING LIGHT (i actually kinda like the song and I don't care what you say >:P) they wish they were INVINCIBLE or had some KNIGHTS OF CYDONIA, but there was "no chance for fate" (lyric but "U know what I mean"- FG :P) they realized TIME IS RUNNING OUT and eventually succumbed to SPACE DEMENTIA while they looked at a DEAD STAR + died a painful death :D

  • Muse...shades of Emerson Lake and Palmer. A lot of classical training and infuluence.

  • wonderful

  • My final wish is that Muse gets worldwide popularity because darn it they deserve it!

  • Thumbs up if you think the album art is about this song.

  • reminds me of something from fantasia in a way

  • Spread, our codes to the stars

    You must rescue us all

Spread, our codes to the stars

    You must rescue us all

Tell us, tell us your final wish?

Now we know you can never return

Tell us, tell us your final wish?

We will tell it to the world..!

  • @Porojukaha Hmm..that's an insightful and thought-provoking observation. I was hearing Gershwin, too, but now I'll have to listen to all of your examples (:

  • @SavedandSound I hear more Rachmaninov or Richard Strauss than Gershwin. Very heavy piano pastoral second movement.

  • I don't really like this album but I love this symphony

  • 21 people disliked this because their ears are not of the age to understand it's magnificence.

  • I don't know what's wrong with you ... I think the Muse has not changed much in the same high quality and good music they do, over 10 years!

  • i hope I don't make anyone angry when I say that I compare muse to pink floyd, which is a great compliment..at least to me and many other lovers of the floyd and roger waters. I have never heard a band so true to music besides the floyd that just seems to go to where it leads them, and can bring us along and make us FEEL exactly what they want so clearly and so intensely!!! Amazing!!!

  • @lorelei1066 And Queen

  • @Kalabanano yes, Queen also. i should have included Queen, but didn't think too simply cuz i don't LOVE them like i do Floyd and Muse...

  • I can imagine myself cross-pollinating with Dommeh with this music in the background.

  • @saymynameandgoahhhhh judging by your name that shouldn't have suprised me xD

3 song masterpieces right here! These 3 songs are a tri-force (legend of zelda :D) of AwEsOmE!!!! Album as a whole was alright.

I think Muse should've just put old b-sides the fans love on the albums instead of the songs we don't like (I still like them just not as much as some b-sides)

I see it as "Well, it's still better than the "popular/ good" music out today."

  • im sorry but, exogenesis is the only part i like about the new album, the rest just sounds a little too pop for me.

  • @Gladiator2155 I may have to agree on some parts, but Unnatural Selection is almost metal in it's delivery(and probably the best song on the album imo), among others. Undisclosed Desires and My Heart Belongs To You are pretty bad though.

  • @grooloops I Belong To You Rather, I saw coeur in the french part and my brain went from there

  • amoOO a MUSE..

  • It's more than an amazing symphony; it's a reckoning for a better world. Your world + My world = OUR World!

  • @volwarrior1 In your world? ;P

  • @museicfan756; it doesn't surprise me that someone would take that small segment out of context. It is not my world, I just want it to be better for all of us. How can we all appreciate the world we have together when only the select few of the RICH are allowed to have 100% FreedoM of Debt, slavery, work, and taxes.

  • @volwarrior1 uh...i didn't mean to offend you. i was trying to make a MUSE quote, but i guess that failed.

  • @volwarrior1 lol, all laughs aside you do have a point. Why do rich people get treated best. They are no better than anyone else.

  • 1 word: boobies :D

  • Tenho tantas....tantas saudades tuas...sabias?Doi muito...

  • er wusste es.

  • well, yes. muse is awesome. from stockholm syndrome to exogenesis symphony...just awesome.

  • Only emotional and intelligent people can understand that kind of music, and that also reflects from the comments... no hate, no bullshit, no thumbs up even... Others dont even get the idea to come here ;)

As for the song... would part 4 be too much to ask? (a)

  • @koit222 :)

  • spread our codes to the stars you must rescue us all? that is brilliant

  • I think this is talking about conquest of space. ''breach the outer sphere'', ''spread our codes to the stars'', and in part 3, they talk about starting over... Maybe on another planet? What do you guys think?

  • @taylaro Exogenesis is the hypothesis that life originated elsewhere in the universe and was spread to Earth.

  • @taylaro For me this song is About Women

  • @taylaro Matt said in an interview "Part 1 is a jaded acceptance that civilization will end, Part 2 is astronauts sending a group out into space to repopulate other planets, Part 3 is the astronauts realizing that it is all just a big cycle, and that they need to stop what they're doing or else it will happen all over again" or something along those lines. Beautiful songs no matter how they're interpreted anyways :D

  • @pwoperlyaMUSEd ive always envisaged this song to rockets leaving earth to another planet and number 3 that these genetically altered people realising what happened in the past and they've got to make a change as it is their last chance and this was until you've just said what matt said so i wasnt that far off lol

  • Y'know, this symphony gave me some inspiration for a plot for a book trilogy.

Knowing my laziness, I doubt it'll amount to anything, but still, it tells you something about the power and influence good music can have. And Muse is the best.

  • multiple eargasm

  • a 21st century prayer.

  • the most rated comments are awesome and also the song!

  • /watch?v=AA5gC6TR15A&feature=channel_video_title

  • I'm not a real Muse fan, i don't really like them except for some songs but exogenesis...really it is so fucking awesome only for creating this masterpiece they're gods to me

  • @SavedandSound hehe, good one :)

  • Okay everyone listen up... 1 watch the live version of the 1ST part with the word UFO in it THEY HAVE A FUCKIN ALIEN! 2.open 3 tabs and play all 3 parts at the same time IM NOT GONNA TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENS AT THIS PART BUT ITS FUCKIN AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • This is my favorite Exogenesis Symphony part. <3

  • Is there nothing this band cannot play superbly? Methinks not (and if there is, I don't wanna know).

  • me: mom, im going to kill 21 people

    mom: alone?

me: no, 1673 people are going to help me, they missed the like button

dad: you can take my sniper

  • This song always makes me dreaming - Matthew Bellamy is a brilliant composer!! Like the others said: It's a perfekt mix of classic and rock! (:

  • How can this man... wait, is he a man? I swear, he is something more than that, 'cause MOTHER OF DARWIN THIS WHOLE SYMPHONY IS AMAZING.

  • @hdaze14 Matt Belamy is at the next stage of human evolution.

  • @MrAnubis1988 oh damn i hope so! think how wonderful the world would be?!?!? filled with aweing symphonies!

  • @MrAnubis1988 THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

  • @MrAnubis1988 If that's true, I can't wait :D

(I also like your username, when my history teacher taught about the egyptians when I was at school she said she was scared of Anubis so it gave me a laugh :D)

  • @pwoperlyaMUSEd I think that maybe she watched too much stargate SG1...

  • @MrAnubis1988 That sounds a bit like "Unnatural Selection"

  • @MrAnubis1988 You mean our true rightful god?

  • This is really special, and suits me cuz i like rock and classical ;D

  • This always reminds me of Super Mario, I don't know why

  • I like how the album cover has an Illuminati pyramid with an all-seeing eye at the top...sometimes I wonder if Hollywood and the music industry are trying to warn us of something through movies like The Matrix, V for Vendetta, Dior Homme etc...too many subliminal messages to ignore.

  • @SoloWing808 I can never understand the Resistance album cover. I really want too, though. I know the others, though. Absolution album cover is the apocalypse, and a guy wondering "Why aren't I going, too?". Black Holes and Revalations is the Horsemen of the Apocalypse... Etc.. But I can never understand this cover. IT looks beautiful, though.

  • @GreenTwiMuseDay12

i think it's a reference to stanley kubrick's movie: 2001, a space odyssey. there is a part, near the end where the astronaut actually sees a bunch of colours in the middle of the space. great film actually, i strongly recommend it.

about the cover it's just my guess, i could be wrong :)

  • @GreenTwiMuseDay12 It's a map of Matt's head.

  • the begining of this song always cracks me up.

  • Fantasztikus

    Fantastic !!

  • this is a great song

  • i dont like that the begining is all piano but the rest of the song is great

  • thumbs up if when you heard this for the first time it immediatly reminded you of Tom&Jerry^^

  • over already??!!

  • this is.... surreal.

  • tout simplement prenant et émouvant <3

  • I like how the guitar and piano blend together at 2:48 and on. So beautiful together.

  • Spread our goats to the stars

  • @SirWookash hi what does spread our goats to the stars mean?

  • @goodie006 I'm fairly certain he's saying "coats"

  • @CapnJake1995 Ohh hahaha i see :) thanks

  • @CapnJake1995 its actually "codes" :D

  • @xxxTheRasmusRockxxx Ah, poop. Hold on while I shoot myself

  • @SirWookash Was that addressed to Albanians or....?

  • poop

  • Matthew Bellamy's voice is so sexy.

  • @Gobbikins homosexual

  • @TheBlastfuck LOL thats funny, cause hes a guy, and im a girl :O i dont think thats being homosexual, and even if i was....youd be a homophobe :3

  • @Gobbikins I actually laughed super hard.

  • I wish I could own the piano like Matt. This makes me sad that I ever quit playing. Such a fool I am

  • dis paintz a story of words and instruments as soldiers in a pirate world of domestication, yup the unfortunateous of it all.

  • @BohemianAmmonoid It's Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin

  • @kmathieu92 How did I miss your comment--I thought it sounded much like Gershwin, too.

  • lol its funny to listen to this after 'you fucking motherfucker' also by muse XD

  • It's just a masterpiece! love muse... love the resistance... love exogenesis symphony...all parts!!!!

  • in the end i love to say i can play this XD

  • this music is a masterpiece. this is unique and this has come from matt's brains!
