I wish the cbc would of come to my house I am a canadian and I have my front yard and backyard is filled with raised beds I have 7 4x8 raised beds in the back, a green house, and many garden pots through out the the back yard. My front yard has raised beds in the front too. 4x12 boxes(so far three,) I bring in 200 lbs of potatoes per year. I also have many fruit trees and berrie bushes. Every thing on my property is eitable. I also cook my own meals from the gardens or I freze, can.

I've begun the process. Starting slow. Four garden boxes. Total about 84 sq. ft. We grew all our veggies for the last three mos.We will continue to work tward our goal of independence.Sheep and poultry to round out the plan. Eight more boxes as well,by next season. Very exciting!
