  • use the coil command....you need to have an axis line and a square (can be any shape-depends on what you are making.)

  • now why would not use expert icons? you can't see the text anyway ;)

  • This video was created as part of a full screen lesson where the user can read the text. Many new users like to use the text until they get comfortable with Inventor. It is a user preference.

  • hehe yea I figured that. I just felt the need to be a little anal >:) That's what working overtime on a monday does to you. Other than that, this is a useful lesson. It took me quite some time to figure out how to make good use of 3D-scetches when i first learned inventor myself.

  • I have the question, In mechanical engineering field to analyze the object such as this one ,the engineer use the math program or solidwork to find the solution such as center of mass, toque, friction etc, and which one give the more accurate solution? Thank you.
