The place is a joke! Way overpriced and way overcrowded! They let too many people into the park and you're day is spent waiting in long lines! That's no fun!
I was there once, wasn't worth it having to pay 4 dollars here for a can of pop, 12 bucks there for a plate of funnel cake, 20 for a hamburger. Worse than disneyworld.

@deesk06 haha i heard of this too wasnt it cut off due to some kid who fell over and died or is that a rumor?. Im 28 btw so not that young and I know its true that you could go up there. Wish I had the chance back in the 80s.
No, that's just a rumour. They closed off the ramp sometime in '85 to make room inside for Thunder Run, which came out '86. Yep! being a kid of the 80's was great!
@deesk06 Oh okay 86 that was the first year I got a Seasons pass (still have it too the actual one from 1986!) I guess I missed the chance to go through them wish I coulda.
And there was an elaborate one-man show called the Rain Maker. He acted as a snake-oil salesman, presented a wonderful spiel, and promised his audience that he could make it rain. Of course, right at the proper moment he pushed a foot pedal that turned on a lawn sprinkler that was aimed right at the audience.
great upload ed! i really miss the pirate ship shows and most people dont remember when they had the marine land'esque shows. oh and the sol loco (sp?) is missed dearly
