@patcoston I know it was bad -- dust got in between the lenses, and there's no easy way to get it out. Been reading up on this -- apparently all but the most expensive cameras are prone to this problem. Some suggest using a vacuum cleaner, but others say such powerful force could damage other parts. Could go to a camera repair shop but if it's going to cost a lot, I've got some other, more-important expenses in line first.
