I'm Portuguese and I find this abuse of the English language outrageous. I learned English by myself and later had classes in school and not even the worse students I met were so bad as these two valuable members of society I hear on the video.
It is a perfect example of how native speakers destroy their own language.

A bicycle is not classed as a vehicle, therefore, the speed limit does not apply to bicycles. i know how hard it is to reach 35 mph on my own. so therefore this bicycle or police car where not doing 70mph, and IF they were, the car behind from where the video was shot should be nicked for speeding too..

But I was telling a story about my friend who was driving me and some other friends home when a cop car without ANY lights on let alone his sirens, going twice the posted limit down a road at 2 am and almost hit us while we crossed an intersection.

No not all Bankers are corrupt, there are a lot of bankers out there. The Police place undercover cops in protests because not all protesters are peaceful, the police do the same thing in football matches so they can spot out trouble makers, what the Police try to do in football matches and protests is to prevent violence, the politicians of course want violence to happen..
a Police Officer's job is to make people go home thinking they are great human beings. I believe what happened here is that bike was stolen or lost so they were either taking it back to the owner or most likely the Police Station. I'm sure the Police Officers radioed for a Transit Van which was probably busy, so the Police Officers could have either waited and still 'wasted tax payers money' or they could have ridden the bike to the Station.

What makes you think he was returning a stolen bike? Even if he was, he is commiting a traffic violation (to which you can be pulled over by the police arrested and/or summons to court and/or pay fine) so regaurdless of what dutys they were carrying out at the time, what makes it ok for them to do it, but for nobody else.
The police officer driving the car can be done for careless driving or driving without due care or attention. The officer on the bike is not only stupid but also not wearing a helmet! not a very good example West Midlands police are showing is it!

Number one, police wouldnt return a bicycle to somebodys house, they've just simply got too much on, secondly, they certainly wouldnt do it if they didnt have a van available. I respect the police, and what they do, but stupid things like this are not justifiable.
