  • This is kind of eerie to watch, knowing sAviOr can never compete again. :(

  • No muta micro lolz

  • it is sick to think that he is considered a low APM player

  • @Melancolia793 he actually looks kinda slow ....

  • Guys, the real skill in this game is not how Bisu completely controlled the game, but how Savior left the game so fast after typing in "gg"

  • @digimon969 enter>gg>enter>alt+q>q

it's just 6 keypresses. not that hard.

  • the most epic sc match of all time !

  • This is a little bit of starcraft history... Crazy how one man, Bisu, was able to change the way the game was played.

  • damn savior must've been thinking

    "WTF IS THIS GAY SHIT"

  • at the end he saw that pylon and left

  • Comment removed

  • @arclite1entity nope actually when he saw the pylon he knew there was another nexus duh..

a zerg thats rather poor and getting expo killed cant beat 4 nexus so he gged

  • if you say savior let him win, then you dont know SC

savior started fixing matches 'after' this final.

Bisu is the best PvZ player in the world, and the best in history, no other protoss can rape zerg this badly even vs Jaedong, whos the best Z player ever. so how can you say savior threw the game? Bisu won it.

  • This match/final and build changed ZvP metagame forever.

  • was this game rigged?

  • @ViciousZeroEnder yes savior threw it

  • savior could have done so much better. after game he also mentioned he made too many mistakes

  • fuck savior for match fixing.

  • @whooshx2 fuck you

  • btw what the hell is he writing in those last seconds?

  • @GraniteAge gg...

  • Wow Savior's APM isn't that great lol. Not that APM determines skill, just weird to see a Bonjwa with such slow APM. For progaming standards that is lol.

  • i dont understand this one. Who won? Why did he left game? there was a lot of things left... please someone explain me, im new to sc

  • @GraniteAge 1. he left because he lost already (he had no chances to win = lose).

    2. bisu (protoss) won the game.

  • Lol,screaming for 1 overlord 9:24

  • @nukemell I hope you know it's cuz a DT was on the way and that was the only ovie around.. ;;

  • @nukemell they were screaming at the lurks being taken out at the nexus...

  • @nukemell They scream over Nexus 9:21. They dont see it from our point of view.

  • Lol,screaming for 1 overlord

  • @Onek1Ss eh only makes you better :P

  • Jesus Christ.

Bring me a link that proves this match was fixed(not some crappy forum crap).

I will bring you a link that clarifies the time savior started fixing matches

    long after this game. k?

  • @seabard77

Suppose say... Mr B won many Medals and victories in a long career in the Olympics. One day in 1988, the police finds evidence that he cheated in a competition in Seoul. The authorities remove his latest Gold Medal. Irregardless, whether he keeps or is forced to return previous titles is not important to me. I will be under the impression that he must have cheated more than once but is caught once. That is enough.

Seriously, I appreciate your replies. But do calm down. No anger ok?

  • @WanderingHealer1945

    1. you're spreading rumors about stuffs that you have no idea, and disgracing not only Savior(whom I don't really care) but also Bisu.

Don't spread false rumors.. you really have no real information about this issue stop making other ppl believe rumors too.

    2. Saying that Mr B. crap means you didn't even watch starcraft back then.

If you don't understand don't talk. I'm not a Bisu fan but if you understand any part of PvZ back then, you wouldn't say this was a fixed one.

  • @seabard77

    1. 6 months ago, you were right; just rumours. Now, match fixing is or hopefully was a reality in e-Sports.

    2. Ben Johnson cheated in Seoul 1988. I don't doubt your knowledge of StarCraft's build. In fact, you sound obsessed. But for me, I understand integrity is important, not greed or cheating to fix a match. Can you imagine all players cheat just to win a StarLeague? Thats bad.

  • @WanderingHealer1945

Savior fixed matches in 2009 only, this was in 2007.

  • @WanderingHealer1945

please stfu, your rumors are plain wrong and your views are also plain wrong. savior not anyone else did match fixing till 2009 and this has been proven. How is this game even prove savior did matchfixing then? this series specifically changed the way pvz was played, youre just some idiot who started watching starcraft this year and think you know everything. stop your rambling please

  • @seabard77

when did savior start fixing matches?

  • @whooshx2 This Finals.

  • @DeadbeatXT

    I don't think so.

  • @whooshx2

Who was Bisu in this finals? The New Kid.

    Who was Savior? The bonjwa.

Who will everyone bet on? Savior

Who's savior going to let win? Bisu

  • @DeadbeatXT

    kekkek fail

  • Comment removed

  • So Savior is caught faking matches, I hope this isn't this match.

  • aijfklsdhfjka!!!

  • wow.. that was kickass!

  • Comment removed

  • Ma Jae Yong gtfo! u rigged cheating match fixer!

  • between bisu, savior, and jaedong they created ZvP to be what it is today.

this is one of the legendary match ups.

  • Well, now that we know sAviOr did lose on purpose, the entire game becam so meaningless. What's more disappointing is, that I was cheering for Bisu and was happy when he won. Now I feel so fucked, it makes me angry!

  • @unihumi Well we don't know which matches he lost on purpose. These matches might have been the legit ones.

  • @tal91 this game is being specifically investigated by the police. For me, it is confirmed rigged because it matches the time that sAviOr was receiving bribes to fix matches.

  • @WanderingHealer1945 rofl don't talk about stuffs that you don't know

    1. Police investigation revealed that the time Savior was involved in fixing matches were after this event.

    2. Do you even know what bisu style is? This changed ZvP flow for a year, do you think Savior could have done anything against it at that time?

For fuck sake stop spreading fucking rumors so ppl who are new to starcraft don 't get wrong idea

  • @seabard77 3 months ago, u can call it rumours. now, KeSPA has removed all SaviOr's records in MSL/OSL/PL so this match does not even count, not official and thus is rigged. If the integrity of a player is already exposed, all his matches are fixed.

  • @WanderingHealer1945

because he was involved in fixing, KESPA wanted all of his records off.

Do you want me to actually pull links and prove that time savior was involved in fixing was long after this match?

and do you understand this logic.

Bisu style changed PvZ flow for a year until they discovered that hydra all in was effective against it and Jaedong invented Neo sauron. (Watch Bisu vs Jaedong in blue storm)

Do you seriously think Savior fixed this match to lose?

  • @seabard77 Exactly, you are right this time. I do think that this match is fixed. That is a YouTube comment by me. The links you can try, its up to you. Its hard to explain to you the general views in Korea, that no one believes Ma any more, even though he has lots of fans in the past but KeSpa decide to sack him. Why? He has no integrity. And you sound very angry, are you depressed by my comments? If I upset you, I apologize for my frank views.

    Ma Jae Yong

    "In Prison"

    Summer 2012

  • @seabard77 Again, since you asked...

Yes, I seriously think Ma fixed this match to lose to Kim. Why do you sound like a angry person? I am so puzzled. SaviOr fixed matches since day one. Before you go in a YouTube rage, here is stating that this is my opinion. Why I say this. He kept replays of his team mates like Effort, Xellos, Much. He then sold them to other teams & outsiders.

  • @WanderingHealer1945 haha shut up dude your stupid, it was said that they payed savior 2 - 3 gs for losing, msl win is 50 million Korean won, about 40 k US. haha think about that,.

  • @aznxboix188 and did u know the 50 million korean won is shared in CJ Entus? and did u know Ma can bet an undisclose sum of himself losing since the odds are higher thus higher winning?

  • @WanderingHealer1945 did you know that savior gets to get at least half of the earnings, and half of it use for the house, did you know that this was 3 years ago, and it didnt even start back then, did you know that you are. wait. basically. wrong.

  • @aznxboix188

saying that this match was fixed is saying that bisu style was fake too.

Was entire zerg involved in fixing? for christ sake I hate ppl like him,

fucking spreading rumors about stuffs that he doesn't know

  • @seabard77 exactly!

  • @WanderingHealer1945

    fucking idiot

  • @seabard77 it takes one to know another.

  • @WanderingHealer1945

and telling other ppl stuff that you don't really know doesn't show that you're a idiot?

  • @unihumi this game is fixed.

  • @unihumi finally a smart comment :-)

  • @unihumi

1.read the comments I andaznxboix188 posted. The time savior was involved in fixing matches were long after this match.

    2. If you actually watched starcraft back then there is no way that you think this is fake. Stop faking

  • Savior..wow Bisu...wow

  • The main reason he runs zerglings into Bisu's base is to get rid of some supply for stronger units...are you a freakin idiot?

The main reason is that he wants to scout. He needs to know what Bisu is doing inside his base. Playing blind will get you demolished. As for making room for stronger units, get a f*ckin overlord you noob. I'd love to play you and have you sacrifice all your zerglings and lurkers to get a couple ultralisks so you don't have to make an overlord.

  • Bisu just made him look like a noob. even though savior was so damn good.

  • @MyLifeForAuir87 actually savior threw the match because someone paid him to

  • he HAS to see his own fail right after defeat...

    how sad

  • i don't think there is any other game in the world where people get this excited.

  • These were the finals between a dark horse contestant and a freaking bonjwa, after all.

  • football

  • @gavnastyyy the girls come on in dry, and they leave wet

  • @gavnastyyy ever seen the world cup?

  • I love how the Korean girls scream and cheer at intense moments. Definately adds something to the game, imho.

  • zerg could've had a chance, i don't know why he attacked protoss' expansion which had 1000 cannons in it and wasted all his lurkers.

  • He was way way behind. He was forced to take a risk to stay in the game, otherwise he would've just been steamrolled anyway.

  • i like watching to see not only their micro, but their macro. See how they work their entire army from tech'nm expanding to coordination of fights. Really do learn how the pros play.

  • seriously, bisu's probe is his life

  • best probe micro in the world, he snipes drones like clockwork

  • Just btw for those people talking about apm jaedong has most Likely the highest apm at 400(average)

  • @poocrazy by.hero is faster

  • i think i read julyzerg got 800 once

  • If they watch their units the entire time.. they will lose the entire time...

  • After you win also :) To figure out if you could do anything better :)

  • APM is a rough measure of how quickly you can make choices and enact them. Making choices is purely mental/reflex (reflex if you've trained that particular choice to be made subconsciously, which is much faster), and enacting them is a measure of manual dexterity.

Manual dexterity is rarely the bottleneck, though. The APM-killer is indecision, which comes from lack of confidence, which comes from not knowing what to do.

  • 13:33 what music?

  • Damn that first probe stayed alive forever

  • Its rather hard to be able to preform all the things you want to at times.

I'd say that there is a roof for whats possible in terms of APM, 800amp as an example is just impossible.

Then there is a personal roof that is determined by your brain. With that i mean that theres a point where you run out of things you want to do with your APM.

So I belive APM is a product of practice, but once you reach your mental limit, there is no point going further with your APM.

  • just for side information,

bisu's apm is three hundred something at best. It is considered high for protoss.

  • Your mind certainly has to be able to make all the decisions and react to situations quickly, but your fingers need to be trained as well to keep up.

  • APM definitely is important in starcraft. APM tells how many things you can possibly do in one minute. even if ur spamming, if you spam constantly, you will find yourself finding things to do that you never thought to do before. the higher ur apm is, the better ur micro tends to be and thats what seperates the good players from the noobs.

  • APM has a soft cap in relation to your actual skillin terms of doing stuff by the bare minimum. If you have 70 apm and are an amazing player you will obviously do better with 170, mostly past that is spam.

  • I'm going to have to raise the spam bar.

There is corsair-reaver that requires a good 200+ none spam just because so much micro and control is required. But otherwise i agree, Bisu is at 300+ stork is at 250+ and Stork does win a lot.

  • This was when savior was absolutely dominating korean starcraft; and bisu beat him in straight sets. The revolutionist strikes again! Of course Bisu's play in the past month has been iffy, he just lost to go.go but he is still a monster. And has anyone else been following Efforts play at all? Man has been destructive

  • who won

  • bisu

  • do u have bisus view???

  • that sexy split....... how does he deselect the drones.. his not using the shift key then deselecting by clicking the drones portraits.. right? his doing something else.. something slick give it to meeee!

  • He just individually selects the drones and sends them to different patches.

  • a spore colony at his mineral patches could have worked him wonders

  • rofl, they scrteam spire spire spire!!

  • i wana see sAvIor vs Julyzerg. my 2 fav z players

  • As a zerg player u can really experience what sAviOr must have felt during the game. sooo frustrating abt the loss since he played so well and so hard. btw I think it really helps a lot when u look @ replays of the games u just played, and especially if u lose its a bit like a habit or an impulse to watch the replay to see where u hav gone wrong & what the opponent was doing (especially a rival like bisu u really want to know when and where u can do something)

  • Damn pressure from bisu, if i were savior i guess I threw away the keyboard already

  • lol, he saves and loads the replay to watch, i didnt know they do that rite after the game

  • savior was doing really well, but...Bisu really pulled it. sair harass was seriously fruitful. dt against zerg? Bisu must really have been doing something right, or just lucky, but prolly through skill.

and he must be like wtf, how did he do that?!

  • oh my god =o Bisu <3 One more reason for loving bisuu

  • lol @ savior pulling out that replay and looking at it right away

  • pulling out is overrated

  • Don't fuck with Bisu...that man has intense skill

  • Saviour , you kick ass !!!!

  • saviors split/start was beautiful

  • true, and this is hardest spot to split

  • killing that spire at 8:25 was the very key.

  • meh not that key, savior had started his Muta's. What was key was Saviors early 4th and his poor decisions against the sair/dt (bad ovie position at his nat, decision to go lurk ling in the face of sair/dt, decision for Mutas...)

Not to say he played badly, I mean, he'd never seen the build executed so well before, he didn't have a build planned out to counter it.

  • stfu pilipp3 u ugly

  • lol, gotta love how that scout probe just kept getting in sAviOr's way

  • yeah for like an hour xDDD

    Bisu is god....

    sAviOr's good too

  • whats an fpvod?

  • a First-Person VOD (and VOD means Video On Demand). So, this is a FPVOD from Savior's perspective.

  • How do you get reflexes like this? Just years of playing, or is there a special method for being able to move the mouse and select things really quickly?

  • maybe jut years of playing and constant practice, i beleive thiss progamers practice 10 hours a day, makes thier hands so keen yet so fast, i think they play the game by memory and its become an instinct for them

  • you have to train your apm (actions per minute) and practice all day. The instinct comment is dead on too, watched a documentary on Starcraft Korea. Regular people base their actions on what they see on screen (brain activity was checked btw), while the pro gamers are pure instinct. You can look up apm counters online if you really want.

  • Saviors actually relatively slow compared to alot of other pro gamers, some of whom are almost twice as fast.

  • Actually savior is some kind of slow but still he is an awesome player...

  • Slow? he has over 300 APM

  • Sorry for the misunderstanding... I am talking about Bisu compared to the other progamers not to me ofcourse :D I have no idea of my APM but i gues it's probably arount 60 (no clue at all) though i heard some progames have around 800 APM (not sure about that) I like how Bisu ownz with his 300 :D meaning APM is not everything!!!

  • I know, lower skill level players shouldn't focus on what their apm is. It will scale with time, the better you get at the game, the more multitasking you can do and the easier it is for you to keep track.

Ive seen 70 apm people beat 150 apm people.

  • that's exactly what i meant ;)

  • julyzerg peaked 800 once. but thats just spamming imo. i mean common 800 eapm? zz..

  • Look at some of JulyZerg's FPVODs and you will see how he plays :) 800 should have clearly been just spam :)

  • hes slow compared to others pros, and if you watch pro zergs like jaedong with 350apm u see its much faster than his faked 800 apm which is physically not possible

  • Comment removed

  • apm doesn't equate how fast you are.

  • yes it does. it says how many actions per minute you have. How fast you click the key board. shhhhhh

  • You don't really know what you're talking about.

Apm is about as useless as putting a band aid on a broken arm.

Apm tells you how many actions you have per minute.

However you can click faster then actually doing something.

  • I'm not saying apm is useful. I have 200 apm and lose to people with 100 apm. At the same time, i can beat people with 300. It's just an indication of how fast you are when playing.

  • Apm does not mean how fast you are by any means.

As I've said before you can click faster then actually doing something.

And Apm is completely useless, I play with 320 apm with terran (mostly spam) versus my brother he has at most 170 apm, and he'll probably always beat me because he has "faster" reactions.

When you are in a micro war, and you need to macro we'll see how much high apm does for your "fast" reactions.

  • Actually savior is one of the slowest progamers in Starcraft. He averages around 250 APM, but his actions are all useful ones, so he can compete with and at his peak, dominate everyone else.

  • Well practice helps but if you're generally just slow on brain-to-hand actions you're "screwed" :p

  • how fast he left the game when he saw that pylon(4th base) alt+q+q

  • ive never seen a zerg player win one of these...

  • FreeMuRa, GGPlay, July, GoRush, sAviOr and Jaedong are all OSL champions, while sAviOr, chojja, GoRush and Jaedong won MSL.

  • nah savior knew within the first second, but could not move due to slow move hydra & ovey. he expanded too fast vs standard pvz. not nonstop harass. just efficient and dangerous

  • bisu OWNs

  • Savior is a good player. But Bisu's PvZ is just godly. OMG. good game indeed

  • aztecx (1 tydzień temu)

"playing starcraft gives you a condition called split concentration.. which is actually very bad for you & when it comes down to things such as studying your fked. "

hmm i wonder if thats true ^^

I wonder if playing starcraft isnt also upgrading your all concentration skills which are vry usefull for studying h`m ...

  • The DT/Sair style requires very delicate control to work; a task only achievable by gosus like Bisu. This style does counter Zerg the most, however. Nal_Ra's classic style of PvZ is almost powerful vs zergs that expand crazily to overwhelm the protoss forces.

  • wow my God, i saw bisu playing to, hes micro and macro are EXTRAORDINARY...not to mention boxer's

    x_x

  • there should be a bisu FPVOD on this.

  • Bisu's the best protoss player in the world~ lol, can't help but say tat since he's been the onli toss player so far to reali kick savior's ass.

  • According to that other apm program, savior's EAPM (effective APM) is around 190 at 250 apm, bisu gets 190 at 320 apm. Savior is amazingly efficient,

  • Yea its always a mystery to me how efficient Savior is with his game. When you look at Savior's FPVOD's you will just feel smooth transitions from build to micro to movement and attack of units.

Not like many other players whose screen movements are really jerky and may cause eptileptic seizures in kids haha.

  • Bisu kicked ass, great protoss player, my personal favorite after anytime. His DTs is just so fluent, he deserved this win as well as earn it. In fact, he deserved all three.

  • Savior's apm may be pretty low for a progamer, but he uses it at as close to 100 percent efficiency as humanly possible. He's just unbelievable. Sadly, he seems to be in his slump now.

  • NO. He's a 250 apm player, this is documented and recorded. The only guy to reach 400 is NaDa, but savior makes his apm count.

  • Savior has APM of about 250-280.

  • Wrong. His tech is usually fine, Savior lost this match because of the macro harassment from Bisu, that was a huge distraction for him and forced him out of his comfort zone.

  • Dwakey = win.

  • omgggg i feel sorry for savior...he had everything to lose while Bisu had everything to gain T-T
