  • wowww que video mas poderoso un verdadero clasico...

  • Don't get met wrong, I enjoy all styles of music including what is considered grind/death/black/doom/thrash metal et al but if you want a no bullshit form of heavy music, TS in this era CANNOT be beaten. DRESS like women, TALK like men, and PLAY LIKE MUTHAFUCKAS.

  • Wow. Pre-A.J. Pero!!

  • Isnt the ORIGINAL version have like a chanting at the end, that they are saying, "follow me follow me follow me follow me, etc....or am I confusing this with another song???

  • @Maidenpatrol Different song. It's one of those early tracks from Club Daze Vol.1 but I forget which one.

  • Twisted Sister is FUCKING AWESOME

  • Good shit !!!!

  • wish the original UTB was on Club Daze

  • @swine74 I had the original single and the version on Club Daze sounds the same to me. Are you sure it's different? I know that they altered the end of I'll Never Grow Up on Club Daze, they removed Dee's talking [hey, what are all these people doing in my room, etc.] but it's essentially the same version just a different mix.

  • @djanchovy the one on Club daze was from Ruff Cuts, I'm assuming they're different. It also didn't include What you don't know from Ruff Cuts (now on the dlx UTB) and the single version of Bad Boys.

  • VERDADERO HEAVY METAL.....

  • Fantastic stuff indeed "Under the Blade" (1982) and "Stay Hungry" (1984) much better than "You Can´t Stop Rock n Roll" (1983), "Come Out and Play" (1985) ..."Love is for Suckers" (1987) well ... .-)

  • this is more punk than anything else.

  • i'm a 40 year old dad and i still love twisted sister, great footage reminds of why i love metal so much! so much energy now that's how to play rock from the heart! thanks for posting.

  • before you call Dee Snider gay for wearing pink spandex, remember that he is the reason why the government isn't allowed to censor music lyrics. Stay awesome (and hungry), Dee

  • These guys were always better live than on record, which could be pretty stiff sometimes.

  • Heavy shit Twisted sister.

  • That kicked so much ass, it hurt!

  • Eddie's guitar is badass!

  • maybe they should have called there band transexual ts still the same thing

  • this just blew me away!

  • I love this. Nobody rocked like Twisted Sister! \,,/

  • !!!!!!!

  • at once i felt i was 18 again in 1993, discovering metal music instead of grunge

  • my favorite tune of universe

  • @budmotor I can see why. ;)

  • THIS is "Spinal Tap."

  • Now this takes me back to Rumours in Middletown NY back when Metal was Metal and Mtv hasn't come along to destroy Music

  • Fuck me. TS kicks way to much ass.

  • they need to rerelease this again.this album kicks ass!!!!

  • Like???? Fuckin Love!!!! Front row!!!!

  • Thank you . I felt like I was back in New York again .... back in the day !! :)

  • I guess Joey Franco died today as well.

  • @majewsmovies

Fast Joey rather. Joey Franco wasn't until '86 lol

  • RIP Fast Joey... good drummer. GREAT FOOTAGE! Love this track...

  • That was great Twisted Forever

  • To me this is the essence of Heavy Metal!

  • Love the start of this song! Great song, reminds of early Riot. The true hard rock!

  • HEAVY SHIT!!!!

  • Remember them playing this on The Tube in Newcastle,it was i am i`m me 1982.

  • performance is very choreographed. Kind of odd.

  • Dee was playing at the Gemini in Yorktown NY I was only 17 During his song, dee noticed some guy playing a pinball machine in the back of the bar, stopped the song, and told him off for spending money to see Twisted Sister and not paying attention It was classic and magic times I will never forget

  • Dee FUCKIN' Snider!

Great stuff! Thanks for the clip!

  • I have not heard this song in ages -damn I feel older then dirt

  • 150% heavy metal

  • Vintage nasty Rock and Roll from those SMF's. Good times!!

  • Can't decide weither I want yellow or pink spandex'es:D

  • I remember this tune, the vinyl was an import at a record store in Chicago. it was one of the first metal lps I ever bought. loved the older stuff more than the 'radio' hits.

  • My god,f**kin awesome!!Saw them at Reading in 1982 where they blew everyone else away!Great memories!! :-)

  • One of the best early Hard Rock/ Metal bands from NY!!!! They were on Regis & Kelly Today....LOL!!!!!! STILL ROCKIN' HARD!!!!

  • Another bit of info on this clip; I knew the guy who recorded this off the air back in 1981. His master is missing the last 10 seconds of the song. I was surprised one day when I found a complete copy posted here[although the intro was missing]. The video quality was lousy but the audio was what I wanted so I rerecorded the audio portion of that other video and mixed it in at the end of mine with that still photo. Thank you whoever you are that posted that other version!

  • @djanchovy i love you man...from Greece with all my heart...

  • i knew joe markowski from a program at glen cove hospital for 4 yrs he opinionated..stubborn.and a great heart and was a great man

  • jesus I didn't even know the 1st 7" had a cover, as seen at the head of the video, never seen it before.

  • Yup. The second single had a picture sleeve also. Another tidbit of info, some copies of the second single were mispressed with double A-side labels. These apparently sat in Dee's parents basement for some years but were eventually put into circulation later by Dee's brother.

  • yeah I have the 2nd 45 complete with cover, that logo on the 1st 7" is pretty funny, real glam garage band vibe.

  • Twisted Sister redefined my youth. I and my now husband used to follow the band in the tri-state area starting in 1980. We are so grateful they made the big leagues. They felt like family to us that you're proud of. SMF friend for life

  • So GOOD to see this! I first saw Twisted in 1980 @ Rockaway in Staten Island. They blew me away like no bar band ever had. Those 2 TS Records 45's are magic! The tightest band ever, I knew they were headed for stardom. Good to see something w/ Fast Joey Brighton on drums! SMF forever!

  • Yeah, the first two singles are great especially Under The Blade. I remember seeing them for sale in Record World in Elmont, NY. Too bad some of the other tracks from that period like Rock and Roll Saviours were not released back then. Well, at least we have them on CD now.

  • @djanchovy -Yeah, were really wanting to get studio stuff back then. I still have the two singles. We used to see them at Hammerheads, Detriot, the Factory, etc..

I still crank some old tunes out on my V & Marshall when noone's home!

  • @djanchovy -First saw them at Adventureland! Yeah, were really wanting to get studio stuff back then. I still have the two singles. We used to see them at Hammerheads, Detriot, the Factory, etc..

I still crank some old tunes out on my V & Marshall when noone's home!

  • @acesteele SMF forever!

  • SMF 4 life...Friday nights at Hammerheads...fukkn yeah!

  • And Tuesday nights at the Main Event! LOL Going was up to West Islip to go to Hammerheads! What a magical time.

  • Love ´em have done all my live well since Stay Hungry came out in 84´ so since i was 7 years old!

  • Been many a band fight back in the band room between Dee and Tiny, bass player from Spartacus. I know I was there.. LOL Rock on...Who would have thought Twisted would have made is so big. They still rock today.

  • this is the proof L .I. club scene was where it was at late 70's

  • i learned to listen to this bad from my dad an i really like it

  • wow footage of fast joey b. on the drums.real cool.

  • time after time this song never gets old "it just flatout fuckin rips" i love it!!!!! long live twisted sister

  • I agree 100%. I used to have the original single which sounded phenomenal. A perfect recording[Eddie Kramer of course] of a perfect song!

  • Twisted Sister were fucking SAVAGE, this is so raw heavy and nasty! SMF forever!

  • I was born too late...

  • #1 band for me ever and it will never change

  • I raise a toast to the SMF's out there !!!

  • i raise with ya CHEARS!

  • who says metal isnt exercising

    lol

  • hmmm their signature colors are slightly different there... purple (instead of red), yellow, blue, pink and orange (instead of green... even though mark always had the animal print). killer footage!

  • YEAH!!!!!!5*****

  • saw twisted 3 times in mid eighties even today when i put this stuff on i am 20 again same thing with WASP

  • Man I woke up with this stuck in my head for no known reason , had to put it on.

  • The dog's fucking bollocks! They were tremendous.

  • This song is badass!! :D

  • Awesome video and song. I wish the '80s could come back, today's music scene really sucks.

  • In the 80's I heard my parents say that about the 60's. :P hehe.

  • Friday night at Hammerheads...yepboy!

  • sorry bakersfield= San Bernadino

  • When I first heard this song (82-83) I had no idea what ts looked like, There was alot of Black Metal coming around (venom, anvil, etc.) so I kinda lumped them in together. Till they got on MTV and they were obviously something else!? But the Bakersfield concert confirmed their MEDDLE. This song still Kicks ASS ! Thanks for posting a great performance.

  • Too bad Eddie Kramer didn't engineer the Under The Blade LP. He did the first two indy singles which sound great and have real balls.

  • estupida

  • This is a great performance by a great band before they went commercial and soft.
