Hey, i love your videos, but do you think you could make a short video just about general information about what you did in afghanistan, like what unit you were in, what your role was and your mission? I think there would be alot of people interested :)
I agree I would never mind the extra weight for safety. Glad to know you are the same. I my self would even probably chip in for the cummerbund and protect my sides.
There are plenty of soldiers who look like the commercial, but don't have a clue in the war zone. I observed them on a constant basis and wrote down my findings. I will share them soon enough...
cant believe they've never seen friends. theyve missed out on some key 90s comedy. the upside of that is they missed the lame series finale. every cloud has a silver lining i spose =D
Trust me...You would be amazed by the bullshit some guys convince people they did over there once their back on U.S. soil. Discrediting a guy like me is the key to keep the hope of their bullshit stories alive.
Oh yeah and I'm not falling for that snowman on the pink shirt trick. I fell for the damn bathroom door...never again!!!
Hahaha, they set up the tents in 2001. Sometimes in people's yards without asking and then left. Never checking on the status of the tents. I saw UN pick up trucks driving around all the time, but never saw them checking on the "school tents"
That cat is pure Hollywood. :)

DaOneAndOnly3 2 years ago
Yep...Did you notice the shit vests we had during the predeployment videos? Train as you might want to fight...
HistoricThirdWard 2 years ago
I do remember seeing a couple of different ones. I'm sure that CIRAS did you well.

It was awesome... Espcially since I was one of the few who wore my front and back plate on every goddamn mission...
You think they'd learn after Blackhawk Down...

Wearing both plates is more comfortable anyway. Needed for balance.
