Yea I did all that I a construction worker by trade done a bit of plumbing in my time, but glad you noted that, for others, was a bit of important information I left out , but yes inside of the T's and all glued connections was sanded first. and so all knows pvc primer is actually a pvc softener and glue activator kind of melts the top layer of the pvc so the glue and the pvc becomes one.

sand the inside of the T as well.
The primer is designed to break the shiny surface though, so make sure and use the primer before you glue.
