  • I am working on sound desk this day!!!

  • Why are there two SS soldiers in the audience (at 28)? I don't seem to remember Nazis at any of the Yes concerts I went to. Could they be defecting to the light?

  • @Youandmeinatree are you mad? SS soldiers in 1969?!? ¬¬

  • @TMUSICIAN ok, how 'bout Neonazis?

  • @Workingasshero its totally different... lol. neonazis were never an official group, with military uniforms, etc. they are groups of civilian retards. By the way, they even have SS symbols on their helmets.. actually these are probably De Gaulle's cops...

  • TONY FUCKING KAYE!!!!!

  • Note at 2:13 the double... " FLAM FLAM" :-)

  • Banks or Howe. Kaye, Wakeman, or Moraz. Bruford or White, this band always boasted exceptional musicians. The first two albums are fantastic, but "The Yes Album" through to "Close To The Edge" is, in my opinion, the bands best period.

  • wish i was there to see these early performances. They sounded great. Must have left a great impression for that time on the audience

  • wow what an intro.....

  • Bill Bruford is amazing, only Carl Palmer tops him

  • Wow, I never saw this. I was three years old here.

  • You can't possibly compare Pete Banks to Steve Howe. Pete tends to play one note over and over. If guitar playing were articulated, Pete has a second grade vocabulary compared to Steve's college education.

  • Hey why did the get rid of Pete Banks he rocks?? Of course I LOVE Steve Howe but this guy is no slouch...

  • I actually have the original album which I received as a Christmas present back in '69.

This lineup of members is my personal favorite.

Banks, Kaye,Bruford. Even thought I love everything Yes has done onwards with White,Wakeman,Howe, the original lineup says it all for me. Great video and sure brings back a lot of memories.---well ones that I can remember--haha.

  • Tony Kaye sounds like Ken Hensly with a well grounded churchie organ. Wakeman more electronic practically invented the Casio.

  • This was shot in Paris...

  • por el acento es la suiza francesa

  • aaaaaaa

  • steve how is simply brilliant!

  • than, watch a vid that has steve howE in it.........

  • Pwned

  • Steve How? Shame he ain't on this then LOL

  • Peter Banks!!! things went downhill after that steve whatsisname signed on

  • Well, Steve Howe is only the greatest guitarist of all time. I mean, who could use him? ;)

  • Not LOL

    Pete Banks was the man

  • I'd say British hostesses, French show

  • Don't even mess with this one... a much better version of same is found searching 'YES 2nd Known TV appearance only 18 months as a band RARE!'

  • what a treasure!

  • French speaking Swiss- Likely the Montreaux jazz festival given one of the acts being introduced was the Keith Jarrett Trio.

Like the guy with the Nazi helmet in the audience! Heil!

  • I beileve it's French.

  • Swiss or French?
