  • I was on an Air Canada Boeing 777 in 2008...it was a great flight :)

  • I love Air Canada .

  • Thanks for not adding music :)

  • Its amazing how thoes GE's doesnt make a sound when they produce 100.000 horse power!

  • this is much better than the 767. One day i was on a air canada 767 flight from toronto to vancouver after a flight on a air canada 777 and the 767 seemed to have a very noisy cabin and was much more cramped and felt quite over crowded compared to the 777

  • dam that is impressive, the GE-90 are music to my years so much power, greetigns from the caribbean

  • Love this video, I met an Air Canada pilot yrs. ago in Houston by the name of Bruce, hope he is still flying with them and all is well, Michele.

  • In 2012 Air Canada will celebrate 75 years in the sky.

  • I can't believe I have the job of flying this bird, I must have been blessed at birth. I <3 the 777! :)

  • It is runway 06L at Toronto Pearson, how do I know this? Well I'm a pilot...lol. They use 06L for departures and 06R for arrivals. It really depends on the wind direction though in the end. Opposite end would be 24L/24R.

  • My fave airport!

  • this would be the best location to watch planes land since usually the big planes like the A- 340's and the 747's land. However, it doesn't make sense since the runway is shorter than RWY 23 and is a bit risky since its part of airport property and you could be asked by airport officials to leave the area

  • i was at this location yesterday didn't even know the raod was airport property

  • i remember seeing this air canada boeing 777-300er from the gate window at heathrow up close witht he pilots at the front end and the sheer length of it was just astounding with the length of the plane behind them.

  • High bypass GE90 turbofans, the greatest most powerful engines ever!!!!

  • where are u recording from?

  • i hope to fly on air canada one day ... if i'm still alive xD

  • thats a beautiful plane..i consider airbus a380 to be ugly! but is the systems in this better than airbus?

  • woaw... what a heavy 777

  • massive General Electric engines in full afterburner.

  • @nootaramus no "afterburner" on passenger jets.

  • @joshster89 darn the nsab

  • does anyone else put there speakers on like max when watching this? i cant get enough of those GE engines!

  • I always wonder how did someone manage to figure out how to keep something that heavy in the sky for like 10 and more hours... I have to thank those smart people :D i weigh 55 Kg and i can't manage to fly and this big heavy bird can :D... i wish i could fly!

  • Bigger engine gives better fuel economy, cause they can run on lower power settings than a smaller engine powering the same airplane, thus consuming less fuel. That's why Boeing went for the GE90-11B for the 777 ER * Extended Range

  • @barthoedemaker no blood for 200LR ER was designed for GE 115b

  • Brilliant vid, and the plane is beautiful, they fly these from London(UK) to Canada,as I was looking at flying soon with Air Canada..the other choice of aircraft is the 767-400 for this route..I would def go with the 777-333!! so thanks for letting me see this fantastic piece of tech!!

  • I love the west bound flights from heathrow to canada. Scenary is amazing on the journey. THe first experience of it is incredible and it felt like a journey in another dimension due to the high altitude.

  • Where is it going to ? nice video

  • 2:00 that wasnt fun at alllllllllllllllllllllllll :(

  • Whats funny is I am one of the guys that pulls up next to the plane to restock the planes with beverages & meals every time I see a 777 or a 747 etc I wonder if it was me who restocked the aircraft on the video.

  • does canada have an airline? :P

  • i work around those big bird load and unload them all day, 777 is the new best plan out there,, to add to your GE enging facts, this 777 engine, on its lowest setup is much strong the power of a 747 enging and on its highest set up or version of it is double the thrust pounds then the 747 engine.

i love the part in this vid when you see the wings really bend to the pressure of the downforce as it lifts. great video,

check out my cheesy blackberry shot of the A380 landing

  • nice video!

  • my new favorite airplane the Boeing 777- 300 ER after Boeing 737-400& up.

  • ive watched this video many times, but i pretty much just jizzed in my pants listening to the roar of those GE 90's :D!!

  • it was not easy to find, but on google earth it's on: 43°39'42.94"N / 79°37'35.59"W

Convair Drive (parallel to the highway 401)

  • where is this place?

  • GE 90-115B = best sound in aviation history =)!!

  • @1337Sniperify Damn wright ;D

  • man those are some big engines!

  • @stevo7470 Yeah man...the engines on a 777 are the same size as a fuselage on a 737!

  • @rec711 are you serious? lol

  • @BeanerIsland yep...I'm serious.. look it up "Boeing 777 engines" = However, the comparison becomes even more incredible if we consider the new General Electric GE-90-115B turbofans that will be fitted on the latest long-range 777-200LR and 777-300ER models. This engine is the largest and most powerful turbofan built to date, being some 11 ft 3 in. in diameter. In this case, the 737 cabin is a mere 3% wider than the 777 engine.

  • @BeanerIsland According to Boeing, the internal cabin diameter of the newer 737 models is 11 ft 7 in

  • @rec711 thats insane.

  • will be flying on this beauty in august, so excited can't wait. Flew on the LR version last year, it was the best ride ever.

  • Enroute to Frankfurt? Did this flight less then a month after your recording, on the 4th of July. Best plane in the sky today, made by the best aircraft company.

  • 33 is air canada's order number for boeing, so actually it is boeing 777-333ER

  • @123jerbear yep

  • best bird in the sky

  • Remi this is very high quality video.

But this plane is not 777-333ER, the correct name is 777-300ER.

  • Beatiful plane... My dream job was to be a pilot, I guess it was never meant to be :(

  • same

  • that Air Canada Jazz plane is going to have some huge wake turbulence to fly through later :)

  • My mom is flying one from CYYZ-CYVR today.

  • 77L is better than 77w

    77L is the latest 777

  • not better they are esentially the same airplane interms of systems just depends on what they airline needs

  • beautful video

I will take AC 777L from Toronto to Shanghai ten days later. So happy !

  • I Agree, Especially in the wake of the Airbus Accidents.

  • hands down the best large passenger aircraft flying today!

  • Such a nice aircraft!

  • rwy 06? i reviewed on google earth where i've been and i found out that it was rwy 6 =)

  • good quality is rare but your vids are outstanding

  • @RemiAviation Thank's for this vid. the 777-300ER is my favorite bird, plus Air Canada's colours are just perfect

  • where do you spot 6?
