oh my god...and that "fluid control knob" that you turned is actually just a locking collar so that when you set it you can lock it. The actual adjustment comes when you turn the knob that sticks out of the one you turned. One last thing, If you dont release the trigger after each pass you'll have heavy build up in the areas where you started to move in the other direction.
That knob controls the fan not the pressure. It makes the fan widen or shrink. Also 50 psi is waaaaaaaaaaaay to much for a hvlp spray gun. Also, why do all my harbor freight tools break? My harbor freight buffer just quit working today in the middle of a job. Had to pull out the heavy trusty Milwaukee.
yeah that gun is garbage... try soaking it in gun wash for a while to clean it, see what happens. lol.. Garbage... harbor freight! garbage!
