@TumbrelJockey The Jazzmaster has a single piece scratch plate and uses P90 pick ups (look like humbuckers, but aren't). The Jaguar has a chrome plate for the control knobs at the bottom and the the top for the roll switches. The Jag also uses single coil pickups. There is also a difference in scale length. The Jazzmaster has a standard length neck, the Jag is slightly shorter.
