I heard Mark Lindsay in concert and he did not treat these great tunes with the same respect heard here. Paul has remained true to the end.

The raiders were awesome. They put out some hard-driving, kick-butt music for their time. A little trivia...............they were the first band to record Louie Louie.

Actually the songs writer Richard Berry recorded it first. Then Ron Holden and the Playboys, then the Wailers did a version that inspired both the Raiders and the Kingsmen to record it. The Raiders cut it a month earlier than the Kingsmen but as we all know the Kingsmen had the bigger hit.

Saw the show and I gotta tell you. You did an awesome job. Being older I of course prefer Mark Lindsay on the songs. He was the original. But I am so grateful to you for doing such an awesome show so I can still enjoy the music. Though I prefer Mark on Raider hits, you are without question a better singer and performer than he ever was. Can I get a CD of your material anywhere? Darrin Medley's lucky to have a friend like you to cover for him.
