i'm impressed by your skill in creating this replica but I'm just not convinced that this pays true homage to the original.

The real thing is now a classic, and it has a big beautiful v12 engine that sounds like no other. Even the bodywork is somewhat different. It doesn't evoke the emotions that the original does. Style, handlng, power, and craziness, this loses on all these fronts to the original. BUT, whatever floats your boat. I wish you and you replica many fun times.

The gas cap is in the correct location except on real ones I think it is in the vertical position, so the gas nozzle goes in down, not horizontally, but I could be wrong. I don't like it either, on mine, I'm making the intake above hinged so it flips forward to reveal the gas cap.

That's a Mirage Countach Kit. Next to the Prova kit, they are the most accurate Countach kits period. This is a kit that done right compared to the other crap kits out there.

From what I have read, and from car shows on TV, the real Countach is no easy to steer nor shift. It supposedly is very tolling to drive one... I will never know how the original is driving wise. The Testarossa they say is also hard to shift and steer. They supposedly have no power steering. The Fiero is cheaper to insure, can be made more powerful than the original it tries to copy, and most people never see the original so they can't usually tell if it is a replica.
