That's odd, I never saw them there. We used to have a regular Peruvian band who played there, are these someone else? The old band, if they were someone else, used regular Peruvian clothes, and they payed more drum oriented music??? I'm puzzled by this. It's as if someone has taken over the "franchise"??? Those Peruvians lived here, how about the ones in the video?
Oh... maybe there are really from Peru? i don't know for sure... they seemed Indians but i really don't know the difference... but i did taped this video about a year ago in denmark...
Well, now that I think about it, it is a pretty long time ago I saw them (I kinda knew one of thems daughter a little bit) But they are probably "Indians", as the Majority of Peruvians are at least somewhat "Indian" they just usually have a different - but equally "Indian" style.
Oh my god! Serious! I always discuss with these people in Odense, Denmark, where I live. They try to look like northamerican indians, but they are not. They got a beautiful culture themselves.. why dress up like some crap hollywood movie, only for selling their music? I think it is sad.
I do sooo agree with you.!!! But if you would like to know the answer of why they dressed up like this, I'll give the answer. : it's because the europeans have some dreams about Native Americans and when they see people dressed like this they even don't try to know about the authenticity, they are just like blind and they will buy the cd's and so the only match to the real reason is commercial reason.
