They do snipe out of helis. covert teams like SAS, Royal Marine Comandos, Navy SEALS and Delta Force do it all the time for low flying, mid range support. It's not as hard (in a sence) as on a game, because in real-life you've got all your body and mind to help stablize yourself. While in a game you've got a thumb and a stick/mouse.

Before you run your mouth. No I am not saying that. What I am saying is you have to consider monement of the body when sniping. In a heli while sniping would be hard on the console because all you have is two sticks to move around, which you have to keep on pulling back. While in RL you can sway your body, postion your hips, your knees etc etc

Unlike a pilot in BF3 who makes the chooper go crazy. In RL they don't fly like that, they stay as stable as possoble.

I wish EA/Dice had put more effort towards utilizing the PS3 unique processor, for BF3 it could run almost as well as computer with a hex-core processor. Look up how the ps3s processor works, it revealed a lot about why some games play extremely well on ps3 and others don't because of developers not taking advantage of its uniqueness.

For example, the Cell CPU bursts out around 250 Gflops, while a normal graphics card(the PS3 cell is more smilar to a GPU than a standard x86 CPU) can have somthing like 3 Tflops which i 3000 Gflops.
