Gul placed sixth overall. I wasn't surprised that she nailed her interview. But swimsuit was what sunk her.

she was completely natural on the stage... only if she could have shown a little more grace and elegance, i think she would have won the title.

still... she is beautiful and very intelligent.....

@rameshwarchawla She was too fat and lacked charm. Were she 20 Lbs lighter and with a more vibrant personality, the story could´ve been different, but not like this.

@JorgeInternacional well, she had an amazing personality, watch her top 10 interview, her body was a little untoned, but she is not fat. fat girls were amritha tappar & nikitha anand.

@syamp8 I totally agree with the personality part, plus she was a genius during the interview, she handled that like a pro. If she were 10-15 Lbs lighter the story might have been another. She lost tons of points with her awful swimsuit presentation and I'm sure she would've look great in her evening gown if she had a "regular" weight. Anyhow, Lara Dutta came with a vengeance in 2000!
