The only proof the bible is true is that some of the characters can be proven real, and that the places existed. You could say the same thing about 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'.

i'm not sure about the reasons for growth, or the process, but if it is growing, we should be able to figure out what's causing it.
This does bring into question the idea of creation, all happening at once.
Wouldn't it be an ongoing process, that is happening all the time?
This means that there was no beginning, and there will be no end, to the universe.
