  • very helpful im glad u posted this

  • I was banded 4 years ago. I have went up and down in weight however am down 119 pounds and have been holding for over a year. My victor is eat what I want but slowly with no fluids at the time of consumption and atleast 1 hour of gym time 5 days a week. I hate the gym well I hate going but after I'm there it's all good. Remember no empty calories :)

  • What book?

  • Hi there,

You have been a great help trough my journey so far!

I wish I had "the book" that you got, as it displays menus and the 10 no, no's!

I was wondering if you had an actual copy of what you held up in this video?

I would LOVE to post it around mt house for extra motivation.

    Thanks soooo much!!!

  • @Wazzazgirl Hi - inbox me your email and I'll send you a copy of what I made for myself

  • How can i not drink while eating a meal!!!! thats sound like a really hard habbit to break..

  • @BEAUTIFULQUEEN09 I thought the same thing before surgery but it's actually really doable :) The key is staying hydrated throughout the day and not having any liquid around while you are eating so you aren't tempted to take a sip.

  • Thank you for sharing your ten tips. It is important to remember that Lap-Band requires continued support. Stop by our channel for some educational videos on how Lap-Band works!

  • hi im just wantting to know something??? i been looking for medicaid and ins. but everybodys saying they dont pay for the lapband i just wanted to know do u know any places that will pay for it thanks

  • You were good girl. Lots of these videos scare me to death but yours was very informative. Thanx you took some worrys away:)

  • the audio is too low. can't hear you. you look good tho.

  • i choke on smoothies.. every day.. but the weight loss is worth it

  • @nykeegirlll Hmmm, did you have lap band surgery and now you're too tight? If yes, I don't think that's good :( Please make sure you are consulting with your doctor and you are able to get the proper nutrients daily. Stay in touch.

  • just curious I am wanting this surgery so I am just doing some research. In order for nutrients what about vitamins and liquid protein

  • @claudia62782 Oops, this is ultra late. There are liquid proteins that you can take post-op ... I try to eat all of my protein. And yes, there are daily vitamin requirements.

  • Im so frustrated because for the past two months Ive been eating like I use to and for one I didnt even think it was possible cause I thought that I was suppose to at least barf or be in pain if I ate too much but it never happens....Nevertheless, Im slowly gaining weight, and for the past week ive been trying to eat like im suppose to, and Im still gaining weight...I don't know what to do and Im ashamed to go back to the doctor.

  • @MyNameIsAshleyB Did you have lapband? If yes, please please go back to the doctor and get an adjustment. Even if you had another WLS talk to your doctor or dietician if one is available. Reach out for help, promise?? You can always PM me too if you have any detailed questions. YOU CAN DO THIS :)) Big Hug - Tamika

  • @ANuMe1109 Yes, I had lap band in December, and I was doing really well until two months ago. I had a lot of things going on and was really stressed out and lost focus, but Im trying to get back on track. However, im still gaining. Im just afraid they are going to look at me and be like I know she couldn't do it because thats what I get from my family. Thanks for the response. You seem really really nice.

  • @ANuMe1109 I think I have 3 or 4 ccs. I promise I'll go back =), but Im going to try my best to lose a few pounds before I go.

  • @ANuMe1109 Alright, I will let you know how everything goes.

  • @MyNameIsAshleyB I didn't get a promise that you were going to call for help and get an adjustment ??? :)) Get some help OK. That's why our bands are adjustable, we need to get to that sweet spot and it changes. How much do you have in your band?

  • @MyNameIsAshleyB OK, and just go ... don't worry about trying to lose before you go, just get there and let your doctor help you. If they judge you , find another doctor. Keep in touch. Let me know when you've made your appointment.

  • @MyNameIsAshleyB go back to the doctor...your learning how to eat healthy for the rest of your life...don't be ashamned!!

  • im praying to God that i get approved for lap band... im tired of suffering... its time to live my life

    best of luck

  • I'll be praying for you too. LapBand has changed my life and I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to get the help / tool that I needed. - Tamika

  • This is really helpful. I'm pre-op I'm in classes right now. I'm excited and hopeful about this. Keep me posted on your progress.

  • Best wishes on your lapband surgery. Do you have a date yet?

  • You are Amazing at this lol! do you have to pay for the fills each time you get them?

  • Thanks :) No, I actually don't pay for fills, I just pay my regular co-payment to see the doctor. My lapband was covered by my insurance. I had a small deductible that I needed to pay when I had surgery.

  • Thank you for the reply:), im going to try your soup before I get my band! or should I say if they let me...lol

  • This seems like such great information however, I wish you weren't mummbling. If you spoke louder and more clearly it would be much more beneficial. Thanks

  • Bad choice in recording, I used a webcam on a laptop so my lips were out of sync with the bad sound but if you'd like for me to send you the info I'd be glad to just send me a personal message with your email address. Have a good night.

  • That is so very sweet of you. If you can, I would really appreciate that. I have been banded since may and STILL can't get it together...lol

  • Very good video and helpful for preops! Have a great week!

  • awesome! these rules really DO work. this is now one of my favorites. have fun with your journey. you will refer to these rules so many times along the way. take care!

  • You might want to give miralax a try for fiber. It is a white powder that you mix in water and it is tastless. It is the only thing that I have found that does not cause bloating and gas. Good luck!

  • Thanks, I'll give it a try!
