On a side note though, probably there many bands out there that are just as amazing waiting to be discovered. It is painfully sad though that they are hard to come by, with all those mostly bereft of even a scent of talent perks taking away the spotlight. If it was not for the whim of somebody in BioWare many people would have missed out on such a beautiful gem of indie music scene... /rant (^_^)

People think faunt owes Mass effect 2 something. They didn't. They just make great music, if anything Mass effect 2 needs another faunts song in their game..period.

As well why Faunts may not have a big fan based is because the general person is conditioned to accept crappy music we have today because that's the only thing the industry will play while the industry weeds out independent or indie music so that we get the idea the the music that has a lower fan base sucks

The industry is flooding us with hundreds of songs that are complete garbage every day and they don't support the indie bands because they don't own them. The big recording labels dominate the industry and with excessive crap songs, we are conditioned/ brain washed into thinking this crap music as good music... The companies behind the labels and recording artists want to consolidate the industry so its only their music we listen/buy. Simply put, we forget what good music(Faunts) sounds like.

Its just like the movie industry, most movies in theatres are crap, they strategically place good movies apart in the year. All these romantic comedy garbage is tiring and getting old real fast. Good screenplays and scripts are thrown out every day and replaced with this pile of bullshit. When was the last time you saw a documentary about something "real" out in theatres?

After beating Mass Effect, M4 grew on me very quickly, and I went from being intrigued by the song to absolutely loving it. After checking out the rest of their stuff, I didn't initially like what I found, but time has passed since then, and somehow I absolutely love everything the Faunts have done now.
