  • A couple of days ago I heard rush on the radio talking about how they are targeting war vet with job opportunity first.

Sounds like they do not want these combat experience veterans on the other side.

    Good luck!

  • Cops showed at least SOME intelligence. If they laid a FINGER on that guy, with all those cameras watching, they would've had a hundred thousand people burning the shit out of NYPD the next day.

  • hold on there geniuses, that man took orders and so do the cops, we all take orders, the soldier like any other takes orders and cannot dicline them, like if he kills an innocent person in iraq, or if the cop takes orders to hirt people, there is nothing to stop them. Those monsters of the governemts that corrupt us, lie to us, kill us only for their best interests, they make people like that soldier become cold, blooded killers of innocent people, and the same goes for those cops

Your days are numbered if your an crooked evil Nazi Cop. maybe get a Job at K-mart while you still can walk away.. This bull shit is coming to an end soon, real soon

  • @pavarottisfriend Keep up the fight my brother, we're all here with you. The people against police corruption excessive force, and over use of "power" will stand up and UNITE and bring this madness to an end!

  • @pavarottisfriend I'm no vet, but I hope to do the same. The first time I see some punk ass cops hurting unarmed civilians for no good reason it's fuckin go time.

  • @pavarottisfriend I have ur back Patriot!

  • @pavarottisfriend hope soo man if our entire military knew whats up this shit would end period.

  • @thegreatkurt2013 I understand that, my friend and I agree with your points but I also agree with your past statement which was "...yes excessive beating isnt in a cops job description...". Shouldn't they find a strategy where there is no excessive abuse? I mean aren't they trained to contain the situation especially when there is no threat? For example protesters were trying to help an injured marine corps veteran when a swat member deliberately throws a flashbang at them? /=(

  • The whole damn worlds gone crazy.

  • Comment removed

  • should have shot that nigger in the face with a bean bag yes excessive beating isnt in a cops job description but protesters arent supposed to run around in the street either they are supposed to protest without causing major disturbance also its gonna grow bigger the more liberals that want the country to go their way the more the rest of the country will think about diving out of it if there is a case of socialism

  • @thegreatkurt2013 Un-American, racist piece of shit.

  • @StratoBlaster420 oh u think im un american america was founded by men who owned slaves not just that but being a communist is the most unamerican thing out there so go fuck yourself commie and have a nice day

  • @thegreatkurt2013 These people are speaking out against the greatest levels of corruption this country has ever seen. If you speak out against this you support this corruption and are an un-American piece of shit. The founding fathers would agree.

  • @thegreatkurt2013 That's still no reason to be abusive or hurt someone who doesn't fight back... especially when you have authority! -_-

  • @josefpanes if someone gets in a wreck and gets hurt because you were being stupid and protesting in a street thats busy it does ! and what about when they set all of those fires in oakland sounds like they were fighting back then trying to bring this whole damn country down and get people hurt in the process

  • The woman next to him looks younger than him? Is this supposed to be his mother? I am confused. Is this thing staged?

  • Lots of Vets get shitty dissabilities after being at war... sometimes even Vet affairs stop paying them out the blue and these Vets have to hire lawyers to get their dissabilities back!!!

They don't need to take shit from some fat piece of shit donut eating cop just because he's a racist piece of shit NYPD cop!

  • mad mad mad props to this guy

  • get ready to meet marshal

  • nypd.....this is just an observation.......you dont have enough tear gas when O.W.S. hits 2 million. please back off from the violence response. the failure will end your city. ya cant jail everyone officer krupke.(west side story referance). find better ways to relate. find better ways.

  • The Dumb Society.

    coming November 2012.

  • Im sure the cops told them to disperse and the crowd just said no. What were they supposed to do just be like "ok carry on"?

  • @Detiminator True the police have told ppl to disperse and move on before beating them and spraying them with mace. I just thought ppl had a right to protest in a safe way. I'm surprised not everyone agrees with taking lobbyist and Corporate political donations out of Washington like OWS says. The peoples best interest are not in Washington

  • Great great report . More Veterans need to step up. And assist the occupy movement.

  • I want to cry when I see this..

  • Yeah looks like NORTHERN CALI people are in NY....dude that hughed the marine has a beanie just like mine the NOR*CAL beanie

  • Give me a break.

    RT=Russia Today

It is Russian state controlled smear outlet.

Do you actualy think that they are going to say or show anything constructive about our country.

Big clue, just becaused you served doesn't make you an eternal hero, see John Kerry for reference.

If you think for one second that there aren't police agitators infiltrating the occupy movement your insane.

Just because you've served doesn't mean you can't be misinformed or clueless.

  • @Juras187 Funny how fox news and cnn constantly showing the ARMED freedom fighters in Libya and how the U.S supported them against their government but attack unarmed peaceful protesters in their own country who aren't looking to over throw just looking for much needed improvement. I loved the U.S since I was a kid, currently staying here until next week and Im disappointed. Jay-Z hit the nail on the head, the U.S has an EMPIRE State Of Mind :\

  • U.S. Marine, who has to go through brutal training before going to risk his life, teaches police how he risked his life for the asshole cops that claim to be risking their lives for the people that they senselessly harass.

  • Amen HERO US MARINE! You and other US VETS, MARINES, SHOW our Officers what it truly means to PROTECT and TO SERVE AMERICA, YOUR OWN DAMN COUNTRY! Do NOT OBEY UNLAWFUL ORDERS. Be Weary of Foreign Troops on our land..training. WELCOME HOME SOLDIERS. NOW you have to really DEFEND OUR COUNTRY. PRAY the OFFICERS wake up too. IT is THEIR COUNTRY ALSO! Hopefully these Police Officers will WAKE UP before the entire Country is Taken OVER, in this Shadow Gov. COUP that is being prepared for us!

  • LAWSUIT..sue NYPD

  • i took the nypd test and passed . my contract is on freeze because im going in the Marines in May. After seeing this idk if id even consider being an NYPD cop when im done in the Marines.

  • 24 people are NYPD

  • You guys REALLY don't fucking get it. The cops are human beings. They are thrown into a situation and get told to handle it or else. They're confused, angry, and scared. Then when shit gets out of hand, oh I don't know like going into banks and starting shit, things WILL get out of hand. And for that fucking marine, "I've never seen a cop take someone on 1v1". Really? You think cops drive around with 10 people in a car? They deal with dangerous shit every day. Fuck all you who have a problem.

  • @EricCris10sen That gives them the right to assault person? Well I better join the force and start ganging on to women.

  • @wicNKWD37 Where did I say it was OK to assault someone?

  • @EricCris10sen Yeah these protests look really dangerous.

  • @EricCris10sen You know whats worse than a Nazi? An apologist for a Nazi.

Know whats worse than a crooked cop?

    You are.

  • @EricCris10sen marines are human beings too, the difference is that they handle these situations with integrity and honor, rather than cowardice. the police are a joke, they defend no one but themselves.

  • @Sylvan81 REALLY? I actually laughed at this. Apparently you didn't hear about the serial killer who was a Marine, going through the streets of L.A. killing homeless people. He killed about 6-7 before he was caught. Or how about the Servicemen who were in the middle east and hazed and pushed this young man over the edge and made him kill himself? Not everyone handles situation with "integrity and honor" you fool. I wont talk to you because of the ignorance that has filled your brain.

  • @EricCris10sen It sounds like you are confusing people (ie) servicemen with apples. We all know the saying that a few bad apples will spoil the lot. Do you really think this applies to people or even just servicemen?? Most of the comments here are in defense of servicemen like Shamar Thomas. There are some good cops, but there are too many bad cops. When people fear their government, there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson.

  • @ohannahdad A few bad apples? I was military police. Trust me, there are more than a "few" bad apples. A lot of them are out there that try to get by one at a time. Just because you don't hear about goes on behind the base walls does not mean everything is just peachy. Not to mention the Military consists of a VERY small amount of all police officers. There are a lot of good cops. I won't say there are too many bad ones. That's just profiling them because all you hear are the bad, not the good.

  • @EricCris10sen When it comes to cops doing a good job it shouldn't be expected that you would hear all about it. Performance above and beyond the call of duty calls for extra recognition., and I think cops get that. Too many cops look for trouble. If I am stopped for any reason ie checkpoint, tail light out, inspection sticker etc why does a cop get mad when I refuse to tell him where I am coming from, or going to. Why even suggest searching my car, and be upset when I say no?

  • @EricCris10sen Be advised I am not a kid, I don't drink, never committed a felony, have a concealed carry permit (and hardly ever carry off of my property) and have family in both law enforcement and military. There are too many successful law suits against LE agencies. The guilty cops are suspended (usually with pay) and return to work like nothing ever happened. DUI checkpoints are being used for every check imaginable; and that is not legal. If you speak up; it's failure to comply.

  • @ohannahdad What's so difficult to have to stop for less than 1 minute? They are checking to make sure no one is drunk off their ass and kill someone. I don't mind that at all. Not only that but it's a check to make sure no ones doing something illegal. I have nothing wrong with that either. I don't see why people get get butt hurt that they get stopped for the safety of everyone around them. The only people who have a problem with this are those who have problem with authority.

  • @EricCris10sen This is a way of saying the end justifies the means. I don't have a problem with authority. It's abuse of authority that I will not accept. We as taxpayers pay for LEO(s) to protect the rights of individuals, and honor the Constitution. The DUI stops in most areas are not producing that many drunk drivers. This is why they began checking all of the vehicle information, which makes the stop illegal. I am not a friend to a very energetic govt. It's always oppresive-Thomas Jefferson!

  • @ohannahdad Well, I see this is going nowhere, at least this conversation didn't turn ugly. We both have different point of views and neither one of us will agree with the other.

  • @EricCris10sen This is called "agree to disagree agreeably." Over the years I have seen officials in every capacity imaginable, swear to defend the Constitution. Then when a test of that oath arises, the oath is ignored. Traffic checkpoint stops are against the Constitution. Dui checks were made an exception which made some people happy;...some not. Now they have broadened the functions of the DUI check. LEO(s) ignore the law to catch and punish citizens ignoring the law. Is that justified??

  • cops attack this peaceful demonstration, teargas, billyclubs and paintballs. Pulling a woman by the hair of the head while she is on the ground. Cornering protestors with a net so they cant run then spray them with pepper spray. When the crowd gets the balls and gets fed up. There will be no control for riot that cops are bringing on thier self. Then people on both sides get killed who is to blame for it??

  • I live in the state of New York and thank god not in that shit hole New York City NYC COPS are Nazis and pussy's! There using that badge to do what ever they want. Last I knew this was not 1930's Nazi Germany or Stalin's Soviet Union where the SS and the NKVD beat and killed people for fun.

  • Fuck war.

  • watch?v=XpTxxc7STrU

    watch?v=Kln-VPr0gKM

    watch?v=yD97eocv_qg

  • Bravo to that veteran. We need more like him.

  • @RamblingHermit Like what? Ignorance? Foolishness? He's talking to them like he knows what it's like to be them. To be thrown in this type of situation. Then he yells at all these cops who are DOING SUCH HORRIBLE things! Look at these cops he's yelling at, sitting there not yelling or throwing people down, or anything. Looks to me like he's yelling at cops who are just sitting there. If anything he should yell at the ones who did something. Not at them.

  • @EricCris10sen He's trying to get these guys to think. And we don't know what the cops did the day before. For all we know, any one of them were throwing tear gas or flash bang grenades at protestors previously.

  • @RamblingHermit He's trying to get these guys who are standing around to think about what? Think about how horrible it is to keep the peace? That's a typical response. And yea, who knows what they did the day before. Maybe he stopped a family dispute. Maybe he stopped a robbing. Maybe he was in a shootout. Maybe he was SAVING A LIFE. Hell, maybe he's even having family problems, and you're sitting here yelling at them when they MAY not have done a DAMN thing.

  • District Attorney needs to do a full scale investigation into NYPD.

  • The cops won't be able to look their grandkids in the eyes

  • did she say 40,000 U.S. soldiers coming back soon? I hope a lot of these brave men & women get involved with the occupy movement.

  • @yossarian1633 Looking at their donations, it looks like they've already joined a movement.

  • @yossarian1633 brave? most of them wont speak up against thecivilains being killed, and you call these barbaric demons heros?

  • gay...

  • he was shouting: "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?" .... Because they are breaking the law. When you break the law in America you must be detained and pay the penalty.

  • MOST OF THEM NY COPS ARE PUUURRE RACIST KKK WITHOUT THE SHEETS ON THEIR HEADS HIDING BEHIND BADGES

  • @Imnawaahla Amen brother

  • What's with all the OWS versus Tea Party commenting?

Let's just end the Federal Reserve and then we can argue about whatever we want after that.

  • Comment removed

  • Well if anyone here has actually been to zuccoti park than you would know that there are several establishments that have allowed the protesters to use their restrooms so long as they clean up after themselves, however during the daytime hours the lines are often very long so some people may just not be able to wait =/.

i myself had to piss on a stoop at 3 in the morning because the only place with people there was McDonald and they where receiving a new shipment and therefore closed.

  • Check out this statement from the NYPD

    (w(w(w).dnainfo.com/20111027/downtown/nypd-union-threatens-sue-occupy-wall-street-protesters

  • Protect the constitution from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC!

  • this will become violent, and hopefully some bad cops get it along with a few rich people.

  • I want to here what bill o'reilly has to say about this lol

  • I wounder if he was white would the comments been different if he was black. So what if he has his uniform on wrong he is ret soooooooo what

  • NYPD cops are pussies. Dealing with the current docile American protestors, they have no clue what a real riot is. Keep up the brutality and they will be ripped to shreds one day.

  • @TheBooban

I pray for that day. When that peaceful protest shit is over and people come to grips that a revolution doesn't move this way, and that brute force must be beaten down with even greater brute force, then I'll be in there, with molotov cocktails, bats, knives and bricks for the pigs' skulls.

  • @TheBooban

u say the NYPD are pussies...ur tough behind a keyboard...these pussies are the same men and women that rushed to the twin towers on Sept 11. the same pussies that risk their life every day to make sure crime isnt committed. wen u walk outside and see that ur car....or bicycle isnt stolen u can thank them. but keep calling them pussies.

  • @GoPensGo26

So it's ok to beat on unarmed people because the rest of the time you do the job you are paid to do?

  • So, why has there been a tendency to sweep war veterans under the carpet, stuff them away so to speak?

Because many have changed their view of many things ("awakening"), in addition maybe lacking an arm or a leg and all that - it is "demoralizing to the public" (hard times for warmongers) and they can even speak with more "authority on the subject" due to the experiences.

  • Shamar Thomas is an idiot. Everyone that has served in the Marines, including myself, knows damn well you don't put your uniform on at protest, let alone wearing it completely out of regs. He is disgracing the Marine Corps as a whole. No one gives two shits if you have deployed to Iraq, join the thousands upon thousands of us who have. This guy is a joke.

  • @scrubbyj2002 Uniform is the whole package. He just wore a camouflage shirt.

  • @TheBooban You know anything about the Marine Corps? Hes wearing the issued cammie blouse, not just a camouflage shirt. Also wearing ribbons on the blouse is not authorized. He's a disgrace to the uniform and for what it stands for. If he wants to protest than by all means protest, but not in your military uniform.

  • @scrubbyj2002 Ya w/e troll

  • @Chris151495 nice there ray william johnson wanna be

  • @scrubbyj2002 umm ok? I don't even have a single video by him except when he with Gabriel but ok...what an idiot you are

  • @UFCextra What's wrong with him is that he's pissed off that the American citizens that he fought for are getting brutally beaten by the ones that are supposed to protect them. He wore his uniform to protect their freedom of speech, and the police tear gas them, shoot them with rubber bullets, throw flashbangs at them (which is prohibited). A 24 year old veteran of Iraq may die because of that. That's whats wrong with him.

  • I am living in a third world country, I am a licensed nurse, Graduated in a community college here in the Philliphines, no job or health care and unfortunately I was diagnosed with heart problems. I have no money for healthcare. Im still dependent to my parents. The prices of food and medicine here is going up rapidly like a hyperinflation. My government (puppet) is ignorant and conspire with oligarchs.Speculation here in basic commodities is so rampant like in the wallstreet. I am 1 of the 99%

  • The comments of those individuals contemptuous of the Occupy Wall Street protesters all have one thing in common, they are written by self-righteous, soulless pigs.

  • Bring the troops home so that they can deal with the protesters. Just like they did with the Bonus Army.

  • Russia today fucking sucks, this protest is a complete joke . I would know, I was there. Most of the protestors are drug addicts and jobless lazy bums.

  • @UFCextra your mentality is what is assisting in holding humanity down

  • @organikness i just happen to agree with just about ALL the politics of today.

  • @thepuzzleandsolution

i didn't either but many regular people did see them throwing bottles at police im reading from five different new agencies and yes when people do that to cops they should expect to get pepper sprayed all im saying is everyone learns in the rioters favor without listening to the men and women who have to maintain order

  • fuck the corrupt cops and fuck the communist protesters also, fuck Wall street too, I want a real free market economy, we need Ron Paul in 2012! and fuck this faggot marine too, he obviously joined for the College benefits, now he wants every dope head in the country to get free college too.

  • @Americansoldier11x "... now he wants every dope head in the country to get free college too."

Easy there lady, first of all "dope heads" are not the first in line for college, second, what is wrong with a free education and no loan to pay back with interests just to try and be a part of maintaining society - which by the way is burdened with the debt for the cost of armies?

The monetary "pyramid game" is debt based, it is basically nothing traded for all the real values.

  • Good for Shamar Thomas. People in uniform, soldiers, police or otherwise are there to protect the public. How many Corporate Officers went to jail for the Multi Trillion dollar mess they caused to the world economy? ZERO. I am in Ontario, Canada, where today I read that a Former member of the Ontario Government who LOST their seat in the last election will be "given" a $250,000.00 "severance" for losing to their opponent. This is the stupidity of Greed that drives people into the street.

  • WTG MARINE!

  • @UFCextra, so you agree with the 1% controlling the 99%? You like police brutality? You think people should be slave to corporations and corrupted politicians? You should move to China or North Korea, they'd probably welcome you. lol

  • @MrDuxfield I agree with the 1% over the 99% , because the 1% have never bothered me.

  • I personally dont agree with the protestors, its a stupid protest

  • That Marine is definitely on drugs...what is wrong with him?

  • @UFCextra Why are you asking us? Ask him yourself tough guy.

  • God bless our soldiers that fight for our freedom, I may question my safety while int he hands of a cop but never while in the protection of these courageous individuals

  • Sgt. Shamar Thomas... I cannot describe how grateful I am for the service you and your family has given this nation.. Thank you for standing up for our rights and for helping bring a realization to the officers who have brutalized our people.. We stand united to better and change the world... It's our time, and in the words of Ron Paul.. An idea whose time has come, cannot be stopped by any army or any government...

  • @thepuzzleandsolution

where is the evidence of law breaking well there's bits and pieces but nothing that would stand up in court the same you could say about protesters alleging police misconduct.

  • The call this news?!? You can here the bias in the "reporters" description of what's happening. Why not mention the cops who are spit on or attacked? Why not mention the illegal activity done by protesters (drugs, robbing, public sex, public urination and defecation, blocking people trying to get to work, standing in street, etc.)?

  • @stevejames1012 Peace my brother. In Oakland, a peaceful Iraq Veteran was protesting and was injured by a flashbang grenade used by Oakland Police. Then while he laid unconscious, people came to help him and the police threw another one directly at the group of citizens. He is now in Critical condition with a skull fracture.

  • @ClifSoulo It's unfortunate that he was hurt. The police were perhaps using too much force. In my opinion, the riots are more to blame. Had they been less crazy, perhaps there would have been no grenade. Either way, it was wrong and unfortunate. It does not change the fact that these protests are, generally, grossly misguided and out of hand.

The average protester doesn't even know why they are protesting. Just sheep following the fold blindly.

  • @stevejames1012 Peace. But you see, your framing isn't accurate. Their have been no riots on the part of the peaceful protesters. They are not misguided or out of hand. May i ask if you have spent time at any of the protests? I ask because I want to understand where your frame of reference is coming from.

  • @ClifSoulo Peace to you as well brother. I have seen riots on the news break out on the part of both protesters and police. Many rioters are inciting violence and hate while not really knowing why they are there.

I spent a short amount of time at Occupy Sat Lake. The feeling there was not peaceful. The people there (for the most part) were not civil. Just disobedient.

I don't disagree that Wall Street is greedy and corrupt. But we need to look at the big picture here....

  • @ClifSoulo ...leaving your home and work to protest day after day will only draw attention to the problem, at best. People already know that Wall Street is greedy. All these people are doing is putting life on pause rather than moving forward. We should be attacking the head of the problem. Corrupt govt officials who pass laws that damage our economy, bail out corrupt businessmen and live lavishly off our taxes. The park on wall st. where the protesters are is owned by a group that...

  • @ClifSoulo ... received large amounts of bail out and stimulus money. They are one of the largest donors to the democratic party. This whole thing is being facilitated by them. I'm not saying that democrats are any worse than republicans. I'm saying that we as Americans have been cheated and are allowing it to happen again. Let's be proactive rather than reactive.

Many activists on the radio, TV and in person have demonstrated great ignorance to me.

  • @stevejames1012 I will simply say this. Detracting and tearing down the movement does none of us any good. WE need people like YOU to begin helping to shape and focus the energy of the movement. If you believe that people are ignorant, then perhaps instead of saying what won't change anything, you explain ways that we can change.

  • @ClifSoulo This movement is not spontaneous. People are getting paid to go protest! Communist parties are funding it. People are desecrating US flags, singing "*** the USA," applauding socialism, opposing capitalism, saying that they shouldn't have to repay student loans, that we should overthrow our govt and "kill" ceo's from wall st. businesses. This is far from peaceful.

I recommend this vid. There is an obvious bias but it features real footage of what is

  • @stevejames1012 That is not true. You know why? The Marines stand in solidarity with us. Iraq Vets are standing in solidarity. You are being misinformed my brother.

  • @ClifSoulo What's not true? I agree that the Marines stand in solidarity (good marines that is). In my opinion, every marine is better than myself and does not deserve that kind of treatment. That doesn't change the facts about this movement

  • @stevejames1012 I am saying that the movement is not being funded by democrats. it is not the "democratic tea party" as some have been trying to say. It is bigger than any political party. It is the people. it is organic. It is what America was supposed to look like

  • @ClifSoulo Obviously the whole movement is not funded by the democratic party. But the original Wall st. in New York was and is. Part of the movement is organic, but there is no order. People are protesting all kinds of things. It is not unified. Some are there protesting the govt, others Wall st. execs, others rich people in general, others Jews, others whites and other "the establishment." There's hardly rhyme or reason to the majority of protesters' demands and understanding.

  • @ClifSoulo Many people, both in NY and here in Salt Lake are simply going to be a part of something. Some go to get drugs, hangout and feel like they can make a difference. People in NY were arrested for standing in the street and blocking traffic. They had been warned several times not to. When apprehended they resist and then video tape supposed police brutality. Clearly there is some police brutality going on but it goes both ways.

  • @ClifSoulo Many of the people want a redistribution of wealth. They want rich people to pay for them. However, when it comes to sharing their own money, they won't. They want the "1%" to pay more in taxes. What they don't know is that 1) 1% of the US population pays 40% of the taxes, 2) about one half of Americans pay NO income tax.

  • @stevejames1012 What you are saying right now, are republican/conservative talking points. Those points were giving to them by the big banks and corps aka the 1%

  • You analysis is just not accurate. But it is ok. Misinformation is a very powerful tool. Please look up independent news reports on the Occupy Movements. KPFA.org (democracy now specifically has amazing pieces covering this), Young Turks, etc etc.

  • @ClifSoulo While democracy now could be seen as independent, Young Turks is far far from it. You might as well watch CNN or Fox if you get your info from Young Turks.
