this will be the first year lebron plays with a HOF player. kobe was "gifted" to play with a HOF player for what? 7 years? so what i see it as is that we gotta see lebron with a running mate (& no mo williams is not that guy). if lebron doesn't win with that perennial all star/hof talent than we can talk about him being a loser and not a winner. but for now, it would be unfair to criticise a guy that if not for him, the cavs would be in line for the 2nd pick in the nba draft.

at this point right now with kobe owning 4 rings and lebron owning 0 rings, i would rather take kobe over lebron. the difference between kobe and lebron comes down to the playoffs. when you get to the conference finals , all 4 teams are "elite". you can not have one superstar doing everything. i like kobe's game against the elite teams more than i like lebron. but i will take lebron against the weaker teams because he just overpowers those teams in all aspects if the game.

Also, Kobe had Shaq which is the reason he was able to win those championships. Realistically, if you put LeBron on a team with the supporting cast Kobe has, he would've won a championship by now. Plus you have to throw Phil into the equation too.

Both great players, but LeBron is better in my opinion. He's body is simply better built for basketball. LeBron is a more complete player than Kobe, he rebounds better, and I believe he passes better too. Shooting is something that LeBron can work on, and it certainly has showed during this year's playoffs, especially from beyond the arc.
