Joe is actually a well known and respected singer among RnB circles, but if you don't usually listen to that type of music you may not have heard of him. But he's been around since early-mid 90's. Some may know him from the Mariah Carey remix of "Thank God I Found You" with 98 Degrees. (One of his least interesting recordings tho in my opinion.)

I was a member of a choir that backed Joe up in DC in 1992 doing speak to my heart by Donnie Mclurkin. We got there late like 1 am, the main act already went on. people were standing up to leave. Joe sang 2 bars of the song and and everyone literally turned around and walked back in. He crushed it. He was like 20. you haven't heard nothing until you hear him sing Gospel. Trust me.
