Then I guess if that's quick a Toyota Land Crusier, Tundra, Tacoma, and even the big dog Caddy Escalade are FAST because they are all much quicker than 6.5 seconds to 60 and I'm sure put up much better 1/4 mile times. Don't forget about the Infiniti and BMW SUVs that are in the low 5s and potentially high 4s.

Those cars are not "fucking quick" they are peppy econoboxes purpose built for reliability and value.

This is the UK. Let me give you some examples of our top spec "SUVs" (we dont call them that)

Range Rover Sport - 4.2ltr Supercharged V8 petrol 385bhp 405 lb-ft - torque 0-60 7.2 seconds 140mph top speed

VW Touareg - 5.0 V10 Turbo Diesel - 345 bhp / 627 lb-ft torque 0-60 6.5 seconds 146mph top speed.

A civic Type R is quicker than the Range Rover, and just as quick as the 5.0 V10 turbo diesel VW.

The type R has a 2.0 n/a engine. That is why we call it fast.

Clutch > Shift > release clutch. No matter how fast you do it, there will be a pause in the delivery of power. That means there will be a pause in the speed gained even if going downhill. Watch the video and it's a constant increase of speed even when the guy is shifting gears.
