whats your thoughts on elf scalar wave transmission and recieving as wireless energy ? Do you think its more effeciant and will travel alot further ? I have the dimensions for an elf resonant coil , its a bit big .. needs 1000 feet of wire ( 300 meters approx) mail me if you like !

my thoughts are that tesla was correct in his view that non hertzian waves do indeed emanate from spark gaps and radio gear,we look at waves with oscilloscopes in 2 dimensions,yet clearly the universe works with spirals.

extra low frequencies that match the earths own freqs(or be an harmonic of them)should travel with high efficiency within the medium.

if all energy ,and sound are waves,w/ frequency ,ie. radio waves. Shouldnt a large range of attack be the best plan any how. multiple band widths layered freuencies.... Get creative !

the path the electricity is going on is just like it would be if there was a straight wire through the middle of the flask.

i think a spark gap is much different to a wire path,given that the EMF is given off at much higher rate than that of a wire.

the reason i tried the setup with an empty flask was to see if there is an increase in EMF when the spark gap is wet or dry.

i need to do another test with the flask dry and full of aluminium foil,to rule out any capacitive effects of the water giving me a false reading,but it would seem at this stage that the wet gap is giving off much more EMF than a dry one.

its a standard neon sign transformer-15 kV at 50 milliamps i think-the caps just make it alot brighter and seems like it allows the NST to deliver peak voltages.

it goes from a smooth hum without the caps to sounding like a string of firecrackers going off.

the spark will jump further with the caps so its definatley an improvement on your std NST.

great for a tesla coil primary circuit ;)

woah that sounds quite deadly =D. 750 watts!. how do u measure voltage when its that high?

i checked the label on the NST it says

30 milliamps 15 kV so its only 450 watts.

but yeah deadly enough to make a man very wary when tinkering.

measuring voltages that high is guess work at best.

usually go by the distance of the spark-an inch being roughly 20kV....

just came to me.......

could you try running the coil you got wrapped around the glass in series with the primary....... it could possibly change the integrity of the water from the tank circuit.... i saw in a video water changes under a magnetic field. anyway great food for thought.

thanx for the idea-im trying to find ways of capturing every bit of energy coming off the setup-think i burnt my eyes last night,as the back of my eyeballs are sore,so there must UV and probably x-rays coming off it too...i was thinking of the coil as a pickup/generator coil,i think behaving like a capacitor so it most probably would work the other way around too,e.i charging the water.

oh by the way, i order 6 15000, .01 pcb capacitors,,wonder if i will get a better reaction with the tesla coil than using beer bottle caps?

yeah tried in series with the gap in parrallel-tried it with 2 gaps,one air one water.seems to work best how i have it setup.

im tipping your new caps will give you brighter spark as the bottle caps can be a bit leaky.
