"Let them eat cake" is one of many callous statements made by the french monarchy who had total disregard for the plight of the common people and it eventually led to the French Revolution. It was supposedly the reply Marie Antoinette gave when she was alerted that the people of France were suffering because of widespread bread shortages. All I can say is.. Revolution anyone??? I'm so over this shit!

The prop 8 decision was very disheartening...I think the judges did what they had to do in terms of the pure interpretation of the law, but it's nothing but horribly sad. It took four years to prepare a viable lawsuit and four years of litigation before marriage equality was legalized in California...it took five months for prop 8 to tear it all apart. Thanks a lot, mormons.
