This was the first Red House Painters song I ever heard (on the soundtrack for the Hal Hartley film, AUTEUR) and was hooked. Anything Mark Kozelek does is great, but this song has a special place.........

Yeah, Hal Hartley's films are always interesting. Haven't heard from him since 2006's "Fay Grim." It wasn't my favorite Hartley film, but he's back in 2010 with "Moving The Arts," which he shares Director credit with another cool Auteur, Canada's Atom Egoyan. So that will be cool. Also, a few years back, I bought a compilation of Hal Hartley Soundtrack music, which he records under the name, Ned Rifle. I always love his film's soundtracks.
