@FisherandVaderINC Yes, I have a Tippmann A5, A Tippmann Alpha Black is a woodsball and scenario type of a gun. They made it so that it looks like a real M4 and its used in the military. Woodsball and Scinario paintball are, well, military situation games

Would you rather I had shot them from 10-20 feet away, and possibly brought injury to one of them, or myself? Or started a shouting match because I shot someone from "point blank range"? Or possibly made someone SO angry that they'd get in my face and threaten me with physical violence because I shot them from "too close"?

Sometimes, the SAFER option is to do what I did.

You did the right thing, and even asked politely, most guys just put the barrel against their back or ribs and say barrel tap and shoot if you get up

You did the SAFER option, but not the SAFEST option, you could have just asked with your gun pointed at him.

Just pointing out, that paintball should NEVER have physical contact with a player of the apposing team.

But you didn't shoot him, and I've been shot "too close" many times, so no harm done.

Up here, MANY fields have the "Rambo Rule", which states if you can get up to your opponent, and TOUCH them on the shoulder, they're out. So with that as a background, what I did wasn't too far off the norm.

That being said, there was no "barrel tag" rule in effect at Blast Camp, as noted above. So my options were to start shooting at 20 feet, on a humid day when paint is bouncy, or "break the rules". I looked at it as a safety thing, so in my mind I'm on the clear.

Man you're lucky to have decent paintball battlezones. I live in the UK and all of the playing grounds are too cramped and chlostrophobic. it is hard to make tactical plans because the field is too small

Hey Tyger, After my first few times playing paintball, i started doing research on buying my own marker. Somehow i fell in love with pump paintball. I ended up getting an ACI maverick w/9oz. co2 and 200 rd. hopper. I love it but i can't afford to spend $50+ every weekend. And you no how BCAMP is on paint cost. My main goal is to become conservative and and downsize to a 50rd. hopper and a 3.5oz Co2. Do you have any tips on how to get to this point? Cuz ino it will take alot of practice. thanks

Just practice, and patience. Nobody becomes good overnight, learn from a loss, learn from the wins, and stick to the course of what you want to do.

So heres the dealio, ive played woodsball for roughly 2 years now, my A5 is tricked out, and i have the tactics DOWN. But im not getting the same thrill, so im gona try out speedball. So that may or may not be shocking, but heres where you come in. I trust your expertese and i need to know a good speedball gun. Looking at smart parts or better.

AGD E-Mag with a warp-feed. Possibly one of the best markers in existance IMO. They aren't made anymore since AGD is no longer in business... hard to find too.

I accidentally removed your question there. Sorry... I need a better monitor or better glasses. But to answer ya, I'd recomend the Warp over the Qloader personally.  You can use your old pods, it's easier to load, and from what I understand the Q-loader company is changing the Qloader (This from a pleyer rep for the company)

Warp feed is the way to go... And if you get one and don't have an AGD don't bother buying the ArmsonProTeam elbow to fit other feednecks, just grind the clamp off the AGD elbow and it'll fit right down into any normal feedneck be it a tippmann, ION, Piranha, or whathaveyou...
