I don't know whether or not that's Anthony singing or John doing backup vocals. Not hearing too much bass but the drum/guitar runs nicely. The quiet vocals add a really nice effect to it.

This isn't really an instrumental, basically it's like (and possibly is) goldwave's "remove vocals" setting, which removes the main sound, usually vocals, which is why @Cheesenipp6 can't hear the bass. But the bass is in this song, you just gotta keep the vocals in. Alternatively, using a walkman (retro or what? but they rock, still, i got one!) and half-plugging the jack from the ehadphones in does the same trick. But at the cost of that lovely bass sound. And without Flea it wouldn't be RHCP.

this was made on audacity!

if you listen to it very carefully, u can hear anthony's voice.

the bass+voice track was inverted, this way u can hear the guitars, piano, sound effects and backing vocal (john's voice, in this case.)

I know this effect: silences the center sounds and only the left and right pan sounds. That's why you can't only hear the guitars, the piano, the toms of drums and secondary voices.
