They're called Diablos i think.

the two sticks have a string attached to them and yeah, you can place as many "yoyos" you can handle. They have the shape of hourglasses you can say. This kid is pretty pro at them.

To make it simple it's a Japanese YOYO. You hold 2 sticks, the sticks are connected by a string. And you get a lube, which balances itself on the strings. Then you do whatever you want, swing is around (but you gotta know, the lube is spinning on the string at all times, and will fall off if they are not in the right angle, just like a YOYO, if they are not straight, it fails).
