Sorry, but not a great job. There was no narrative, and what little was said was drowned out by music- which I thought was the best part. Start off with a slow tempo, setting up the sotry, the quicken the pace with action shots leading to a crescendo.

actually it is the voice of John Huston who portrayed Noah in The Bible from the 1960's. He was also the voice of God in that movie and the lawgiver in the last of the Planet of the Apes movies. Son of oscar winner Walter Huston and father of Angelica Huston another oscar winner.

This movie rocked. When Rakin/Bass tried to do the Fellowship of the Rings, then they mashed the last 2 books together THAT was an insult to Tolkin and fans alike. As for details, it is a childrens movie. My father read the trilogy and the hobbit to me repeatedly they got he big stuff and enought of the little stuff. I'm almost 23 and I love this movie and the last unicorn, nastalga I guess... I guess the fact that I'm a geek doesnt help does it?

Due to the interpretation of Tolkien's work in the 1970's, I don't hold the odd characteristics of the Dwarves or any other characters against them. It is said to be marketted at a child's audience anyway, so to make them as horendous as they did was justifiable. The only quarell I have is that almost all the cast are played by yanks. The least homage they could give to Tolkien's legacy would be to use acclaimed British actors for the roles.
