  • I really want to give her a hug.

  • I wonder if she continued to get better since 2006?

  • This part made me cry ><

  • Wow i didn't think intervention does this i've always thiught it was all drugs

  • I wonder if her parents freaked like they did with her stripping when they found out her brother is gay, 'cause the boy does look like a fruit.

  • everyone is bagging on her brother. Maybe he could be more understanding but he's also been raised by the same perfectionist family and no one asked him if he could handle the emotional stress his life is serving him. He clearly has a hard time expression "negative" emotions. Lay off, people.

  • what does the stripping have to do with her ED? I think anyone has the right to choose their own way to make money

  • @TheSnuffy1994 The only reason she was stripping was because she was desperate for money for food to binge on. She wasn't doing it just to make a couple extra bucks for a phone or makeup.

  • This is scary, people with eating disorders should be in treatment centers for more than a year.. it's worse than giving up on drugs.

  • Jessie is absolutely beautiful!

  • Eating disorders are both mental illnesses AND addictions.. it's hard to quit. Her family's pissing me off. Her brother's the only one who's near to understanding.

  • @glitterkilljoy hes not to understanding in part 2

  • i hate how her parents scold her for her disorder....

  • i think her family is great because they love and care for her and they haven't given up hope....so they are pushing and pushing her towards well-being....it looks ugly but its necessary....better than bury ur head in the sands and pretend she's all good and let her kill herself!

  • I think her family needs to be a little more supportive and less confrontational. She needs to feel loved, not ostracized

  • ...oh jesus... Her family.

  • "We're not looking for perfection; we're looking for no eating disorder!"

Fucking dick thing to say there, Dad.

Sure, her ED is a problem... But so is her family. They act like they want her better so they don't have to bother with her, not because they actually care.

  • I feel bad for her family..she's very selfish.

  • @miZsCrZe3 if she was so selfish, she would've never gotten an eating disorder. the basis of an eating disorder is to please other people.

  • @EnviroArtiste86 This is completely untrue. She didn't choose to have an eating disorder. It is an illness.

  • @EvieDoherty i'm not saying she chose it. far from it. i'm saying she's not selfish. this illness comes from the want to please other people.

  • They shouldn't treat her like shes a problem. She isn't. Her dad is an ass. I feel for her because I went through a lot, minus the bingeing, and my whole family still wants me to be perfect. She can't just "get over it" Nothing happens over-night. Seriously.

  • @vampiregirl13001 How isn't she a problem? I don't understand how cleaning up your daughters puke isn't a problem, how paying for her bills because she spends all her money on food isn't a problem, how watching their child DIE from this disease, isn't a problem? Of course it's a problem and until you have dealt with a scenario like that yourself how the hell can you judge? The truth hurts but she needs to hear it because addicts DON'T think they have a problem. They think it's okay and it isn't

  • @albthepker She knows she has a problem and she isn't an addict. She has an ED. That's not an addiction. She needs help, yes, but she also needs moral support. Eating disorders are serious.

  • @albthepker No addicts do not believe it is okay. They want to get better more than anything. They just don't know how to. I am bulimic myself. My everyday life looks a lot like this girls'. So I know what it is like. One hates oneself for hurting ones' family. But you just don't know how to stop. You just wanna be normal, you just wanna wake up and go do normal stuff, have friends, laugh, go out, get an education, be healthy. happy. But something's holding you back, you CAN'T let go

  • I imagine she feels just like me except with a cutting problem.

  • Look at the difference in the gentle way Seeley talks to & about Jessie vs. the way the dad does. The dad has this condescending annoyed tone when speaking of his own daughter. He's a fucking asshole! Show some love, jeez! Your daughter is hurting inside because of the lack of warmth from those parents!

  • Her dad is a dick. Reminds me of my ex's dad, my ex who also became an addict btw... Coincidence?

  • how dare you ignorant people STOP FUCKIN JUDGINg their family, because you dont have the sligtest idea of the pain and harships they are going THROUGH.#Grow up

  • All her dad was trying to say was that there is no such thing as being a little bit bulemic. You're either bulemic, or you are not. She is delusional with the "small victories" statement anyway. That poor girl was balls deep in her problem and needed serious help. I hope she is better now.

  • Her brother needs to grow some balls

  • Her family is a fuck job.

  • GumDependence you are very good editing videos. I didn't notice there was another history before this this video

  • Jessie: '' No, that makes me feel like everything I'm working for right now...is meaningless to you. ''

Her dad: " No, it's not meaningless, it's not enough. " ( paraphrased)

I think I see the cause of this disorder.Loud and clear.

  • @serioushamburger I agree 100%

  • Her dad upsets me because he said it's all or nothing, but that the kind message makes people even more depressed. You have to start somewhere, but if people are constantly bringing you down, you'll always feel like nothing will ever be good enough.

  • I can sorta see where the parents are coming from; they're just concerned. The brother, however, is drama queen and a bitch.

  • I used to binge also. Believe me, it's pretty shitty. I'm glad I snapped out of it.

  • Bulimics are utterly self absorbed. It's their self centered nature which causes their disorder in the first place. They will let their family and body rot away because all that matters is themselves!

  • @madhammudeux may i just ask what position you are in to give you the right to judge people with this disorder? i understand that everybody is entitled to an opinion but, i don't understand how you have come to this frankly, ill-informed and ignorant conclusion. I am bulimic and have been for six years.the only reason i am still suffering alone with this is because i'm afraid of what it would do to my family if they found out. i would rather they were happy than torn apart because of me.

  • @madhammudeux Wow, you're whole new kind of ignorant

  • @marky77 I don't think he is too far off base with his comment. I would gree with him to a degree.

  • @madhammudeux That is the dumbest, most ignorant comment I've heard.

  • all you guys dissing her family...... IF SHE WASN"T AS PRETTY AS SHE IS YOU ALL WOULD BE SINGING A DIFFERENT TUNE! She has abused her family and taken whatever she can to be able to binge and purge. People die from this. gosh, watch this one, this is where she is headed "The worst case of Anorexia and Bulimia Ever" Dr. Phil. It is shocking how progressive these diseases can be. Short term, they look good. Longer and they die.

  • stop blaiming her parents! if you've never had an eating disorder, don't comment. you have no idea what she and her parents go trough, it's a living hell!

  • i want to stick it in Jessie's ass

  • if she was overweight her parents would probably be all torn up and tell her she really disappoints them and she isn't living up to her potential

  • Wow. Her parents are fucking assholes. And they wonder why she has an eating disorder? Christ.

  • 5:06 laurie???????????????

  • Her dad is an asshole... she starts crying at 2:12 and his face says like "Whatever"

  • @Caziegirl some times u need to be hardcore to get through 2 people. He may have acted like that on purpose.

  • it would be great if i could all that food and stay as thin as her !!

  • "We're not looking for perfection, we're looking for no eating disorder."

To someone with an eating disorder, they ARE asking for perfection. :(

  • @GEhotpants101 Perfection and control, two things that realistically one can never fully achieve without compromise.

  • i hate her family! they are perfectionists, who have driven her to this

  • I wonder if she has been 5 years free now or if she went back to purging? I hope Jessie is free of her Eating Disorder.

  • I think her brother has been holding in for a long time with mixing feeling of anger and sadness.

  • @LIVELISTENLAUGHLOVE i love your username

  • @Tompettylady601 Aww...That's so sweet of you for saying that. Thank you very much. Tomorrow will be my best day ever!

  • @LIVELISTENLAUGHLOVE no problem and cool

  • Hey brother does look like blues clues =] but her brother is more of a bitch

  • my brother acted in a very similar manner, when I received my own intervention for bulimia and anorexia years ago. The process of recovery was more than 5 years long and if it wasn't for my family not abandoning me, I would not be back in school today and moving on with my life.

  • @lwoody08 That is awesome!

  • her brother looks like blues clues
