your problem there is its not saving for you to watch for example on windows media player its saving so that you can open it again and edit

so long story short:

.MSWMM=file that can be loaded and edited

.WAV=Can be played on a program example youtube windows media player etc

It means you're not saving it right in Pivot.

Save it as a .gif not a .piv.

Another reason why if you DO save as a .gif is because you need to save your Windows Movie Maker as a Movie File, Not 'Save Project As'.
