An exemple; Ich gebe "Dir" eine Antwort. "Wem" gebe ich eine Antwort? Dir = Dativ Ich bringe "Dich" in Schwierigkeiten. "Wen" bringe ich in Schwierigkeiten? Dich! = Akkusativ and; "wem" schlage ich ins Gesicht? "Dir"! "wen" schlage ich? "Dich"! that´s realy hard to explain ... i´m german and i can´t explain it in german

ok so I got a question: you say "Ich mag dich". Is this actually correct? I was told by a native german speaker that "mag" is used for food only, and if you want to say you like something else than food, you use "Mir gefällt es", "dir gefällt es" etc. so would it be correct to say "Mir gefält dich" instead of Ich mag dich?

this is a good video but you can explain a litle more, for example "zum Bahnhof" is the datif case , asked by "where" and its a short from "zu dem Bahnhof"

You do say: "Ich mag dich" to express that you like somebody in Germany. In South Germany this expression even takes place of: "Ich liebe dich" . They will say: "I mog di" and it sound sort of sweet.

Then: "Mir gefälst dich" is not correct. You would say: "Du gefällst mir." The literal translation would be: "You appeal to me." "To me" is the way how you express Dative in English.

@iWannaHearUScream you cant say "wie spät es ist?" you can say: "weißt du, wie spät es ist?" weißt du ist do yo know. you have the same thing in english too. you say: "do you know hat time it is?" but "what time is it?" you wouldn't say "what time it is?", would you?
