@xxbryan715xx It's not legal to carry, so yes the police or deputies can take it away from me if they wanted. They may even write me a ticket if they are having a bad day. In Louisiana it not illegal to own, just illegal to carry.

Blaze, I conracted Benchmade 2 weeks ago and they sent me "Free" pocket clips. They call them "Parkerized" Give them the make & model of knife & they'll send approp.c lip with screws. They sent me one for my Grip 551 & the 2550 Mini Auto (my fav all time knife) They look a little worn, but they're brand new and don't wear or scratch like the painted ones do. Made my knives look even better. LOVE Benchmade. Made right here on earth, dang son!!! Luv ya my man. They say on the clip B/M USA. Try'em.

Hey Blaze, Just as info switchblades are illegal in Ga. except for 3 classes of people. 1. Law Enforcement 2. Military & 3. PEOPLE WITH ONE ARM. Supreme court of Ga. has ruled that a person with 1 arm is entitled to carry a switchblade. When you think about it makes perfect sense. Just thought that was interesting. Love your vids.

Hey Cajun B. Thanks to all your vids I have gotten in the past year, Rat 1 Folder, B/M Grip 551, Kershaw Oso Sweet and today I got in the mail my B/M 2550 Mini reflex auto. Man, I love that knife. Auto's are illegal in Georgia as well but being in law enforcement I can carry anything. And it goes on duty with me TOMORROW morning. Thanks for all your excellent vids. Couldn't find the green limited but I got the Black/Satin

@deputysheriff100 Great choice.  My boss uses he everyday. The spring may go out, but I do here they are easy to change. I have always brought mine back to the Blade Guy I bought it from and they are changed in 5 mins. Hope you like the 2550. Keep me posted, and thanks for the update.

I love my benchmade 2550. It is probably my top 4 most carried edc knives. The others are the Bradley aliase 2, kershaw leek, benchmade 940, and last spyderco sage. I love them all. When I want to be real fancy I carry my small sabenza.

i emailed benchmade and they sent me a blackened pocket clip (one that doesn't scratch up), they sent it for free and it came on time.

Hey cajun, give BM a call and ask them for one of their "parkerized" clips. I've found that those hold up a lot better than the painted one. It still shows scratches but none of the coating will come off.

But personally I think the clip on that 2550 looks cool. Something that worn really tells a story.

Love the automatic knives...but I worry about getting pulled over and having my knife taken and getting arrested (or charged anyway...not sure if that's an arrestable offense, I'm pretty sure it's just a misdemeanor). I do have one BM auto I carry occasionally-the 3550. I like this one better, but I got mine for like $65 so I couldn't pass it up. I really wish BM would make a manual version of this knife...great design.
