It also appears on your friends all activity pages and I can guess that getting friends on youtube is easier than getting subscribers, so that's even more people (:

On the issue of sound, I think faded sound with commentary is probably the best choice. It lets people get a feel for what is going on in the gameplay, while still focusing mainly on the commentary
