I have this and it chronoed in at 100-1000fps o and to adjust it you have to push on a little button and then twist when you twist it and it gets tighter it will be higher fps and if it's lower if it's looser

@sexyself45 that is probably going to be around 450 FPS I think. A metre is about 3 feet (just over) 120 is 400 if I remember corectly.

Use a CO2 mag, or insulated/ heated green gas mags.

the design and mechanics of the WE gbb system will operate in 10-20deg F so long as the gas in the mag is at [normal] operating temperatures.

Explaining the details would cover a little bit of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and fundamental physics concepts.

go to gasguns(dot)info and do a little research. It'll help you understand why your gun "freezes" in cold weather, what parts are interrelated and how to remedy.

some of us here in my country had been thinking what type of polymer can withstand propane pressures.

because, poloymer/plastic for me may be able to maintain constant temperature, hence pressure.

It is true that polymers are less inclined to fluctuate temperatures as compared to the current design, but it's not really the fact that the shell itself is metal. For example: if you took a WE mag internal and retrofit it into a MAGPUL PMag shell, it would still operate very closely if not exactly the same as a standard WE magazine.

It's the actual gas reservoir and expansion chamber materials that need to be put into consideration - as well as the output/ exit valve flow.

@joeyphoshowey the key word is may be... because metal retains temperatures better than some polymers, hence helping maintain constant pressures.

a single piece polymer reservoir plus the typical valve assembly most of our creative folks are looking at. observing branded lighters take in propane with no problems, endure repeated fills and dumps, so possibly we could research the materials used, and make one themselves in the near future

Just because the reservoir is made of an isothermal (or seemingly) polymer doesnt mean that the "cool down" effect will be completely negated. Pressures and temperatures will change rapidly due the nature of the mechanical operation. Every time that valve is opened, gas leaves, decreasing internal pressure (temp and pres are defendant).

I'm not saying that you're wrong, just that you may not get the results that you might think based on materials. Look at expansion chamber design.
